Where to get Rime-Worn Fragments and Crystals in Genshin Impact

Rime-Worn Fragments are season-exclusive items that expire at 4:00 PM EST on January 6, 2021. They are small crystals that drop from monster habitats on Dragonspine during particular times. You can find them anywhere on Dragonspine by killing just about any enemy, including basic hilichurls. The items drop alongside the regular loot pool that the mobs would drop.

From testing, it appears that the Rime-Worn Fragments are included in nearly every mob’s loot pool from now until January 6. There are no special requirements, and you can find them anywhere on the mountain, including inside caves, from killing slimes, giants, samachurls, hilichurls, and more.

Open up your inventory and navigate to the Precious Items tab, which is the last icon up top. You’ll see how many fragments and crystals you have collected. Rime-Worn Crystals are a bit harder to come by and tend to drop from the larger creatures on Dragonspine. Running around taking out every type of mob should net you about a 4 to 1 Fragment to Crystal ratio. In conclusion, you won’t have any shortage of these materials as long as you do some killing.
