In this guide, we will be taking a look at where to find Spider Silk in Grounded. This resource material is a requirement in several crafting recipes, most notably the Dew Collector. You can also use it to make Insect Bow, Spider Fang Dagger, and a couple of other Workbench Tools.
Where to find Spider Silk in Grounded
Start by the telescope, or laser, near the house. Make your way closer to the home by either following the wire or moving in the proper direction. Eventually, you will get to a spot in the yard with a bit of a hill and a rake. There are some spiders and mites in this area, so make sure to be cautious of those. There can be some larger beetles and wolf spiders as well, so look out for those.
Keep going towards the house and look for a paint bucket. Your goal is to make your way to the deck of the house. Check for spiderlings throughout the area under and up against the deck. You can take out the spiderlings with a bow, and then harvest their bodies once they are dead. When you collect the spider, you should get a few Spider Silk from it. That’s where to find Spider Silk in Grounded. Like most materials, you will naturally come across it while exploring the world.
If you’re new to ground, we have a few recipe guides you can check out. Look at our Grounded Base Building recipes guide and our Grounded tools recipe guide for more information. You can find various recipes throughout the game by collecting resources and scanning things in your Computer Analyzer. Keep in mind that the game is still in early access, so content is subject to change, get added, and removed. We hope this guide helps you out on your journey.
