There are many resources to gather in Genshin Impact, some more useful than others. Until the Marvelous Merchandise event, Pinecones weren’t all that useful. However, whenever Liben shows his face in Mondstadt, you will suddenly need to make sure you’re fully stocked up on random common ingredients like Apples, Carrots, Sunsettia, and Pinecones. If you want to get your hands on the Box o’ Marvels, that is. If you’ve been neglecting to pick up pinecones until now, you probably want to know where to find them. Here’s where to find Pinecones in Genshin Impact, so you can stock up on them and never need to worry about them again.
Where to find Pinecones in Genshin Impact
Pinecones are found in the wild in Genshin Impact. You’ll mostly find pinecones in Mondstadt, at the following five location:
To start things off, you’ll probably want to head to the Stormbearer Mountains. You can collect well over twenty pinecones at this one location in a couple of minutes. Refer to the image above with the flower pin markers.
While you’re in the area, head east to Stormbearer Point, and you’ll be able about a dozen more Pinecones. Again, check out the map above.
Moving south, you can head to the Starsnatch Cliff for about a dozen more Pinecones. At this point, you’re probably approaching nearly 50 Pinecones in about five minutes of work. Not bad, eh? Well, we got three more spots for you, if you’re still on the hunt for those oil-rich pinecones.
Fast travel to the Qingce Village waypoint and make your way north. Cross the bridge and collect the pinecones along the way. After that, consider teleporting to eastern Mondstadt to the next location.
Dadaupa Gorge and Cape Oath
Teleport to Cape Oath and make your way northeast. There is a group of trees southwest of the Spiral Abyss portal with some Pinecones. Next, you can teleport to the Eagle’s Glen domain waypoint. Make your way south, and you’ll see a bunch of trees around the area. Generally, you can usually find pinecones underneath the pine trees.
From there, make your way west to the end of the gorge. You should see some more trees in the area, with more pinecones under them. Refer to the map below for all three areas in eastern Mondstadt.
