Where to find Chilled Meat in Genshin Impact

The Dragonspine region of Teyvat is home to some unique monsters and special resources. One World Quest from Chef Harris at the campsite asks you to search for some Chilled Meat. It’s a new type of cooking ingredient introduced with the Dragonspine region. Here’s where to find Chilled Meat in Genshin Impact.

Where to find Chilled Meat in Genshin Impact

There are two primary areas where you can find some Chilled Meat in Genshin Impact. The meat comes from Chilled Boars, which are a bit larger than normal boars and encased in ice. You’ll need to thaw them out, which can be done with Scarlet Quartz or simply by using any Pyro character to melt the ice. Like regular boars, you’ll kill them in a single hit with any of your heroes. Instead of dropping traditional Raw Meat, Chilled Boars drop Chilled Meat.

You can find Chilled Boars at the following locations:

• Southeast of the Dragonspine Statue of the Seven on a ridge
• On the eastern coast of Dragonspine

Where to find Great Snowboar King Meat

If you’re doing the quest from Chef Harris to acquire Chilled Meat, here’s a quick walkthrough. Either of the locations above is viable, and you can see them both on the map. Each boar drops two pieces of Chilled Meat, so some simple math tells us we need to kill five boars. There should be enough boars in either location, so take them out and collect your ten Chilled Meat. Return to Harris at the Adventure Camp waypoint afterward.

After speaking with Harris, he’ll have another request for you. He needs you to collect one Great Snowboar King Meat. The Great Snowboar King is a new miniboss in Dragonspine. He’s at the top location shown on the map above. To get him to spawn, you need to kill three chilled boars, and he will appear. He’s not too difficult, but he does have three moves to watch out for, including a charge, one where he spawns minions, and a ground stomp.

The charge move is linear, so he moves in a straight path, which you can telegraph and avoid. If you move out of the way and he hits the wall, he’ll be disoriented for a few seconds. He can also spawn smaller boars that throw snowballs at you. Finally, the ground stomp causes icicles to fall from the sky. After you eliminate him, grab the slab of Great Snowboar King Meat and return to Harris.

Harris will give you a recipe for Goulash, the perfect food for the weather of Dragonspine. Use the nearby cooking station to cook one Goulash, and then speak with Harris to complete the quest. He’ll then tell you to return to him at 18:00 for another quest.
