You can either build her to become a great sub DPS or a main DPS – whatever floats your boat! So, what is the best Nahida build in Genshin Impact? We’re here to teach you which weapons you’d want to use, artifacts, and team composition.

Best Nahida Build in Genshin Impact

Nahida uses a catalyst weapon when going into battle, and she is a Dendro character. This means that she is perfect in battle when you can boost her elemental mastery stats. The main focus should be creating a character ranging from 80 to 100 elemental mastery. In order to do this you’re going to want to find artifacts that are considered the best for their herd, as well as, find a catalyst weapon she can use. Don’t worry, even if you can’t find the best-of-the-best artifacts and weapons we will offer you some substitute items to use. Here’s the best Nahida build in Genshin Impact.

Nahida Build for DPS in Genshin Impact

Nahida is a great choice when you’re wanting to build a DPS team. She’s also great if you’re looking to use her as a support DPS character. If you’re wanting her to be a support DPS you’re going to want to make sure her elemental mastery falls between 80-100. You also need to focus on raising her critical skills to unlock her full potential. If going the support route is what you’re looking for try using artifacts such as:

  • Deepwood Memories (The best choice)
  • Gilded (Second best)
  • Wanderer (Third best)
  • Sands: Elemental Mastery
  • Goblet: Elemental Mastery or Dendro Damage
  • Circlet: Elemental Mastery or Critical Rate

If you’re looking to go the main DPS route you’re going to want to switch out the goblet and circlet. Goblet should be Dendro Damage only and the Circlet should be Critical Rate OR Critical Damage. This will require you to create a team player that will use all of their elemental mastery boosts. The reason you want to use Deepwood Memories is that she will gain a 15% increase in her Dendro damages if you have only two pieces of it. If you have four pieces of the artifact you will notice a 30% decrease in Dendro RES. Now that we talked about artifacts let’s take a look at her weapons.

Nahida Weapons for DPS in Genshin Impact

There are three different weapons you will want to find if you’re looking to create a solid Nahida team. These weapons will help significantly in battle. The reason for this is that the weapons will provide her a boost in elemental mastery; which is what you need. One of the weapons will boost her stats in Critical Damage and that helps as well. The weapons you need to have are as followed:

  • A Thousand Floating Dreams (The best: provides bonus stats in elemental mastery and gains buffs)
  • Kagura’s Verity (Second best: boosts Critical Damage by 14%)
  • Magic Guide (Third best: elemental mastery becomes 41 and increases damage to enemies)

You’ll want to use these weapons because they give you opportunities to do some critical damage. If you’re looking to create a support DPS companion you’re going to want to pick weapons that will cater to her elemental mastery potential. Don’t worry, if you can’t find the two best weapons, you can always use Magic Guide which is a great choice for free-to-play players. The majority of the weapons you could use for her require you to go through the wish system or battle pass. Only one of them, which is the Mappa Mara, can be crafted.

Best Nahida Team Composition in Genshin Impact

A traveler is nothing without the friends that accompany them. You could build Nadia to be the best, however without the right friends, you won’t be seeing as much damage. We recommend adding characters who specialize in Electro, Hydro, and if you love Pyro, we can add that in as well. The reason we recommend using Electro and Hydro characters on your team is that Nadia creates Dendro Cores. These cores will support Electro and Hydro friends when dealing incredible damage to enemies. Think about using characters such as Yelan, Raiden, Kokomi, Shinobu, Xingqiu, or Nilou. If you want to pair her up with a Pyro character we recommend using Diluc or Thoma.

Nahida Ascension Requirements in Genshin Impact

Nahida is nothing without leveling up and you will want to level her up all the way to 90 so you can really get a feel of her power. You should also focus on upgrading her constellation as well. If you’re wanting to really add Nahida to the team and you’re looking to level her up here’s what you need:
