How to Unlock and Access Ruins of Remembrance

The Ruins of Remembrance unlock after hitting Research Level 1 on the Outaway Cave Illumina Spot. There are three Research Levels to achieve in this area:

  • Research Level 2: 40,000
  • Research Level 3: 50,000
  • Max Research Level: 110,000

To fully complete the Ruins of Remembrance, you’ll need to complete a run and take a picture of a Crystabloom so you can unlock the Gold Illumina Orb for your subsequent playthroughs. When you have the Gold Illumina Orb, you can activate the six Crystablooms in the ruins, which represent each of the six prior Illumina Pokemon up to this point. There are Crystablooms next to each of the statues:

  1. In front of the blue statue.
  2. Next to the red statue.
  3. Left of the purple statue, but requires a proper angle to see.
  4. Next to the green statue surrounded by Eldegoss Pokemon.
  5. Hidden behind a Golurk and Natu; throw a Fluffruit at Natu, play a Melody, and throw Illumina Orbs to get them to move.
  6. Near the end, in the middle of multi-colored Crystablooms.

Ruins of Remembrance LenTalk Requests

There are 13 requests for the Ruins of Remembrance:

A Break Between Patrols

To complete A Break Between Patrols, check your left when you enter the main ruins room. Sigilyph is sleeping on the job, and you’ll need to get a shot of it to complete this one.

  • Research Level: 3
  • Pokemon: Sigilyph
  • Photo Rating: 4
  • Reward: Todd (Smiling) Profile Icon
  • Guide:

A White Pokemon

To complete A Whilte Pokemon, feed the Houndoom at the start of the level to the left side of the path. Play a Melody and an Absol will make its way down. Take a picture of Absol eating some Fluffruit. There is also an Absol later on in the ruins, which you can also feed to complete this quest.

Blowing Seeds

Drowsing Beheeyem

To complete Drowsing Beheeyem, enter the last room of the ruins and take a picture of the Beheeyem behind Golurk, floating in front of the crystabloom.

Fading into the Shadows

To complete Fading into the Shadows, feed the Noivern a Fluffruit when you first delve down into the ruins. Throw another Fluffruit to the left side of the cave, and wait for Slanadit to pop out. Salandit will call over Umbreon, who you’ll need to snap a picture of to get credit for the request.

Gracefully Gliding

To complete Gracefully Gliding, snap a picture of Noivern who sweeps over after you toss a Fluffruit on the markings on the ground.

Groovy Chandelure

To complete Groovy Chandelure, throw an Illumina Orb at the first Chandelure you see. Next time you encounter it, feed it a Fluffruit and then play a melody once it finishes eating. Take a picture of Chandelure mid-dance.

Houndoom’s Breather

To complete Houndoom’s Breather, capture a picture of Houndoom stretching and taking a breather near the start of the level on the left. The Houndoom does not always do this pose, so it may take several runs to complete, but there are a lot of Houndoom throughout the level to focus.

Just Perching Here

To complete Just Perching Here, make sure your area is on Research Level 1, and throw a fluffruit at the Ruins in the beginning of the level. Natu should appear, who will perch upon the Fluffruit. Take a picture of Natu in this pose for credit. Note that this request may require Research Level 1 only.

Myth of the Ruins

To complete Myth of the Ruins, light all the six Crystablooms in the ruins, and wake up Jirachi on the Steelix statue. You can throw an Illumina Orb at it to wake it up. Play a Melody when Jirachi appears by the altar at the end of the level.

The Mysterious Heart

To complete The Msyterious Heart, throw a Fluffruit down the well on your left before delving into the ruins. A Woobat will fly out, and you need to repeat this step five times. All the Woobats will stick to the wall further down into the ruins, and you’ll need to snap a picture of all five.

Two Golurk

To complete Two Golurk, enter into the final room in the ruins with the stone statues, and toss a Fluffruit at the Beheeyem, who will go toward Golurk. Find the Crystabloom near the Volcaroni statue, behind Golurk, and hit it with an Illumina Orb. Another Golurk will fly into the area, and you’ll need a picture of the flying Golurk, while the other Golurk is still in the shot.

Salandit’s Battle Plan

To complete Salandit’s Battle Plan, get a photo of Salandit and Noivern fighting, and make sure they are both in the photo.
