New Pokemon Snap Research Camp Requests, Pokemon, and Map Guide

The Research Camp area of New Pokemon Snap is Professor Mirror’s home base. Throughout the story, players can unlock this level and explore it to take photos of thirteen different Pokemon. There are two variations to the map, and the are has one max research level. This guide will cover how to unlock the Research Camp and how to complete all Research Camp requests in New Pokemon Snap.

How to Unlock and Access Research Camp

New Pokemon Snap‘s Research Camp area unlocks after reaching Fireflow Volcano Illumina Spot Research Level 1. You can access the Research Camp from the main menu, by clicking on the yellow photo icon on the top left of the screen.

Research Camp Map

There are two starting areas available in the Research Camp map, which affects the position of each Pokemon. You can notice which starting area you will get from the home screen. To get a new starting area, you must quit your current run, exit back to the main menu, and go back into the Research Camp.

A Cheeky Pose Request Guide

To complete A Cheeky Pose in New Pokemon Snap, throw an Illumina Orb at Cutiefly and play a melody. Cutie will hold its cheeks, and that’s the moment to snap a picture.

A Pup at Heart Request Guide

Throw Fluffruit to lead Stoutland to the middle of camp, then hit Trubbis on the middle table with a Fluffruit. Trubbish will make Eevee mad, and make Eevee go to the center with Stoutland. Stoutland will then start dancing, and you need to take a picture at that moment.

An Eevee Party Request Guide

To complete An Eevee Party request, enter the lab to find Eevee and Stoutland sleeping. Scan four times and throw Illumina Orb to wake them both up. Scan again to reveal Cutiefly behind the television. Hit two Cutiefly with Illumina Orb to make them follow Eevee. Throw an Illumina Orb at Eevee before it jumps, and take a picture of a glowing Eevee moving its head back and forth.

At Home in the Dark Request Guide

To complete At Home in the Dark, Meowth is sleeping next to the Neo-One, but you can wake it up with some Fluffruit. Make a trail of Fluffruit leading to under the deck of the research lab. Meowth will run under and scare Rattata out. Take a picture of Rattata running away.

Audino’s Favorite Pastime Request Guide

To complete Audino’s Favorite Pastime, feed two apples to Cutiefly, who will then fly to the center of the area next to Audino. When Cutiefly gets there, Audino will then do a spin. Take a picture of Audino as it is spinning.

Borrowing Bravery Request Guide

To complete the Borrowing Bravery request, throw an Illumina Orb at the Crystabloom when Sudowoodo is in range of it. Sudowoodoo will start dancing to the center of the map, at which point you need to take a picture of it.

Bunnelby Bursts Out Request Guide

To complete Bunnelby Bursts Out, find Bunnelby in the three holes in the ground. The Pokemon will rotate between them, like a game of whack-a-mole. Throw a Fluffruit to hit its ears, and then quickly throw an Illumina Orb, which will make Bunnelby jump very high. Snap a picture of Bunnelby’s high jump.

In the Middle of the Camp Request Guide

To complete In the Middle of Camp request, throw an Illumina Orb at the Crystabloom next to Sudowoodo. If Sudowoodo is in range, it will dance to the center of the map. Rattata and Trubbish will follow soon after. When all three Pokemon are in the center, play a melody to make them dance. Snap a photo of Trubbish dancing.

Research Data Rescue Request Guide

To complete Research Data Rescue request, take the route to get inside the lab. Make a path of Fluffruit from Dedenne leading to the computer. When Dedenne gets close enough, it will start to drain electricity from the lab. Take a picture of the moment with Dedenne emitting electricity.

Say Hello to Your Neighbors Request Guide

To complete Say Hello to Your Neighbors request, scan the two Starly sitting on the roof to make them fly away. Circle around the entire level, until you get back near the start, where you can see Starly sitting on top of a wood post. Throw an Illumina Orb at Starly, snap a picture, and then Starly will make the pose. At that point, take another picture to get the 4-star Starly picture and complete the quest.

The Empty Room Request Guide

To complete The Empty Room, take the long route around to get to the lab. Once inside the lab, toss some Fluffruit up there until you hear a meow. Throw another Fluffruit to get another meow, and then Meowth should come running over to the edge. Take a picture of Meowth doing the scary pose to get a 3-star photo and complete the quest.
