However, this already large list of weapons is about to get even bigger with the release of Genshin Impact 3.1. Which is an update that’s set to release on September 28, 2022, and features a never before seen weapon known as the Missive Windspear.

How to Unlock Missive Windspear in Genshin Impact

The Missive Windspear is an upcoming four-star Polearm that’s set to arrive with the launch of Genshin Impact 3.1. Outside of its stylish appearance, it also features a very unique refinement material known as the Plume of the Changing Winds. Which was first shown during the Version 3.1 Livestream, following the likes of other event weapons which always have their refinement material included in the event.

In order to obtain the Missive Windspear in Genshin Impact, players will need to play through and complete the Of Ballads and Brews flagship event. Which is a type of event that rewards players with a Crown of Insight as well as either a character or weapon, which in this case would be the Missive Windspear.

Currently, not much is known regarding the event or the weapon itself. That being said, the Missive Windspear will release once the Of Ballads and Brews event has arrived when Genshin Impact 3.1 is live.
