How to Unlock Delubrum Reginae Final Fantasy XIV

How to Unlock Delubrum Reginae Final Fantasy XIV

I wonder sometimes if it’s annoying for Final Fantasy devs to keep up with all the people, places, and things they come up with. Keeping a list in itself isn’t that hard, but when you have names like “Delubrum Reginae,” which the uninitiated would be hard pressed to identify as a person, place, or thing, I can only imagine the potential headaches. Well, maybe making it a giant raid mission makes it easier to remember. Here’s how to unlock the Delubrum Reginae raid in Final Fantasy XIV

Delubrum Reginae is the newest large-scale raid of Final Fantasy XIV, introduced in its most recent patch. It’s a 24-player raid located beneath the ruins of Bozjan as a part of the Resistance weapons questline encountered on the Bozjan Southern Front. I am genuinely surprised spellcheck didn’t flag any of this paragraph. Anyway, it comes in both Normal and Savage difficulties, but before you get a chance to fling yourself and 23-47 friends into certain doom, you’ll need to unlock the raid first.

How to Unlock Delubrum Reginae Final Fantasy XIV

In order to unlock the Delubrum Reginae raid, you’ll need to have completed the raid that immediately precedes it at Castrum Lacus Litore. In order to unlock that raid, you’ll need to make a certain amount of progress within the Bozjan Southern Front, so if you haven’t done that yet, you’ve got some catching up to do.

After you’ve completed Castrum Lacus Litore, you’ll need to pay a visit to Marsak at Gangos (located at coordinates X:6.4, Y:5.7). He’ll give you the Resistance weapon quest “A Sign of What’s to Come.” After you’ve gotten that quest, go see Bajsaljen nearby at X:6.5, Y:5.8 to pick up the quest “Fit for a Queen.” After you’ve gotten these quests, go talk to Mikoto at X:5.5, Y:5.4, and she’ll let you into Delubrum Reginae either solo or in a group.

To unlock the Savage difficulty of the raid, you’ll need to have fulfilled all of the prerequisites I just listed, as well as a complete alliance of 48 players, a Resistance rank of 15, and 700,000 Mettle. The Savage version of the raid employs the same general rules, but additionally, if you die, there’s a respawn timer. If nobody revives you before it ticks all the way down, you’re booted from the raid instance entirely. So try not to die, yeah?
