Having an Amazon Prime subscription brings with it all sorts of handy little conveniences. Free shipping, discounts, exclusive services- really, the only thing it can’t do is rescue you from a dark realm of perpetual torment. It can do the next best thing, though: get you some free stuff within the said dark realm of perpetual torment! Here’s how to redeem Amazon Prime rewards for Dead by Daylight.
How to Redeem Amazon Prime Rewards for Dead by Daylight
Amazon Prime subscribers get free access to the Prime Gaming service, through which you can redeem free gifts for various online games, Dead by Daylight included. Every month, Prime Gaming provides a Dead by Daylight gift pack, which can contain limited-edition character outfits, bundles of in-game currency like Bloodpoints, or if you’re lucky, both. It’s super easy to do, too, not requiring any kind of account linking.
Here’s the step-by-step for redeeming Amazon Prime rewards for Dead by Daylight:
- Visit the Prime Gaming page and log into your Amazon account. Obviously, you need a Prime subscription for this.
- Go to the Dead by Daylight page to find the current gift and click Redeem. You’ll receive an alphanumeric code, so go ahead and copy that.
- Open up Dead by Daylight on your platform of choice and go to the in-game store. In the top-right of the screen, you’ll see a Redeem Code button. Click that button and paste in the Prime code.
- Hit confirm, and you’ll immediately receive whatever’s included in the gift.
There are a few catches to keep in mind in the process. Firstly, Prime reward codes are one-per-person. Once the code is redeemed, it can’t be used again, so don’t try to share it around. Secondly, if a code rewards cosmetics for a character you don’t have, you’ll need to buy that character to use it. It’ll stay in your inventory, so if and when you ever get that character, you can use it then.

Finally, Prime gifts can only be applied to one Dead by Daylight profile. If you play the game on multiple platforms, you’ll need to link them to a single Behaviour account in order to access the rewards from a different profile. Behaviour accounts only work on PC platforms at the moment, including Steam, Stadia, and the Epic Games Store.
