Destiny 2 has just come out with a new Season (number 20) and expansion (called Lightfall), but the developers of the game aren’t stopping there. Bungie has just released a new raid to the game, known as the Root of Nightmares, and players will need to complete it if they want the exclusive rewards the event offers. The extremely popular space FPS often pits players against tough bosses, but the final boss of this raid promises to be extraordinarily strong. Veterans of D2 have been getting almost spoiled by the amount of content releasing in the game lately, and it appears there is more in store with this latest addition. In this guide we will cover how to get the Conditional Finality exotic weapon in Destiny 2’s newest raid, the Root of Nightmares.

How Do You Obtain the Conditional Finality Exotic Weapon in Destiny 2?
In order to get this exotic in Destiny 2, you will need to do a couple of things first. As with all exotic weapons in the game, it will be especially difficult for new players to obtain it – barring the tough challenges that will already present themselves to players who wish to unlock it. Without any further ado, here is how you can get the Conditional Finality exotic shotgun in Destiny 2.
Complete the Root of Nightmares Encounters
Your first step is to finish all five of the Root of Nightmares encounters that will be mandatory to complete if you wish to finish the raid. Although not too much is known about these encounters yet (since the raid is still so new) the first two will need you to complete a few puzzles involving nodes and orbs. Additionally, you will need to take on Tormentors, Psions and a handful of Majors to get past these stages in the raid, however these enemies are nothing compared to the next step.
Defeat the Final Boss: Nezarec
Your final challenge in this raid is to take out Nezarec, who veteran players will remember as a Disciple of the Witness. In order to defeat this tough enemy, you will need to have a full Fireteam of experienced players that are competent enough to take down a Disciple as strong as Nezarec. Since we don’t know enough about this boss fight yet, there aren’t any tips that we can give you besides advice to bring other exotic weapons to the fight.
After you have finished off Nezarec (or if you are able to!) the boss will drop the Conditional Finality with what we believe to be 100% chance, so you can rest assured that you will be well rewarded for your efforts in this raid. It is a little early to tell what impact this new exotic shotgun will have on the meta, but you can set targets alight by landing most of its Solar pellets, or stun them by landing most of its Stasis pellets.
