You’ll be doing a relatively lengthy quest for the best broom in Hogwarts Legacy, and you’re going to have to spend over 10,000 Galleons in the process. That being said, you can start upgrading your broom now, then continuing later on in your playthrough.

In terms of getting better brooms in Hogwarts Legacy, you sort of can’t. Brooms that you purchase only affect the look of your broom – not its performance. What you can do, though, is upgrade your broom. You do this through a quest with Albie Weekes – the man that runs Spintwitches Sporting Needs in Hogsmede.

The initial quest involves you beating a time trial on the Quidditch Pitch in Hogwarts. Complete the trial and return to Ablie Weekes. After a bit of time has passed in-game, you’ll be able to buy a broom upgrade from him.

After this, you’ll be given access to the next time trial. Again, completing this and returning to Albie will unlock the next upgrade. Go through this process a third time, and you’ll have unlocked all broom upgrades in Hogwarts legacy.

Each upgrade increases your broom’s speed and handling, and they’re quite substantial upgrades. It’s worth doing this quest as soon as you possibly can.

Best Looking Brooms in Hogwarts Legacy

What if you don’t care about your broom’s performance, though? Well, there are a handful of broom cosmetics that could be considered “the best brooms in Hogwarts Legacy”. This is all personal opinion, of course, but here are our three favorites.

Ember Dash Broom

The Ember Dash Broom is one of the most accessible best-looking brooms in Hogwarts Legacy. You can purchase it from Spintwitches Sporting Needs in Hogsmede after you purchase your initial broom. It only cost 600 Galleons and looks incredible – especially compared to the other three brooms available.

Silver Arrow Broom

The Silver Arrow Broom is a bit pricy at 5,000 Galleons. It’s the most expensive broom in the game, sharing its price tag with one other broom. There’s a reason for that cost, though. The Silver Arrow broom is clearly a cut above the rest in terms of aesthetics. It’s clean, stylized, and puts simpler brooms to shame. You can purchase this broom from Arn once you complete the Carted Away side quest. You can find Arn Just south of the lake in Hogwarts Valley.

Sky Scythe Broom

Last but not least, we have what we consider to be the best broom in Hogwarts Legacy – the Sky Scythe. This is the other 5,000 Galleon broom alongside the Silver Arrow. Unlike the Silver Arrow, you don’t need to complete a quest to gain access to it. You’ll be able to purchase this one from Leopld Babcoke in Hogsmede Valley – next to the castle directly east of Hogsmede. The Sky Scythe broom is smoother than the Silver Arrow, which is why we prefer it, but both are clearly better than the rest of the purchasable brooms.

Aside from buying brooms, you’ll be able to unlock brooms by popping balloons and redeeming them in your challenges menu. For more helpful tidbits like that, follow Gamer Journalist on Facebook. We’ll keep you informed on all things Hogwarts Legacy.
