The Ashwinder is deemed one of the most elitist outfits you can obtain in Hogwarts Legacy. Unlike other cosmetic items which you find through exploration and completing specific Side Questlines, The Ashwinder is a set uniform which is obtained through beating a Battle Trial. As these are located throughout the Regions of Hogwarts within the game, players must find the Battle Trial which rewards you with The Ashwinder. This is our guide on where to find and how to obtain The Ashwinder in Hogwarts Legacy.
Where to Find The Ashwinder
Players will find the Battle Trial within the Feldcroft Region. Open the World Map and hover to the western side. You need to head to the southern side of this Region, right against the edge and south-west from South Sea Bog. At this part of the Map, players can see the Battle Arena Icon if you have previously visited the area. If you have not been here before, refer to the screenshot below for the exact location of where you need to go.
How to Obtain The Ashwinder
Inside the Battle Arena, you must first destroy the 20 Vases in the area. Use Revelio as a quick means of locating the Vases around the arena. That way you do not need to search the whole arena aimlessly for these Vases as they are only the entry requirement to begin the Battle Arena Waves. Once all Vases have been destroyed, head to the centre of the Arena and initiate the Waves by interacting with the Statue. This Statue appears as the Battle Arena Icon on the Mini-map.
There are a total of 5 Waves for you to defeat. We recommend using the unforgiveable curses here as you will be able to defeat the enemies and pass through the Waves relatively easy by utilizing these Spells. Using Spells such as Imperio will freeze larger enemies such as Trolls, making it easy for you to repeatedly attack without getting hit yourself. The first Wave asks you to defeat an Armored Troll. You will want to stop its movements as using Spells will take a long time to take down the Troll. The second Wave has you fight off seven Mongrels. Using Spells such as Glacius will prevent enemies from attacking you, giving you time to fend off the moving targets.
The third Wave asks you to fight a Ranger, Arachnids and Dug Bogs. There is a total of 9 enemies to defeat in this Wave. These are more long-ranged enemies so you should focus on taking out the Spiders and Dug Bogs before defeating the Loyalist Ranger. There are 7 enemies in the fourth Wave, including an Armored Troll to take on. Players should once again use the unforgiveable curses, where the Avada Kedavra will take out the Troll in a single hit. The final Wave has 16 enemies including multiple Trolls and Loyalist Assassins. It may help using Spells such as Imperio to get one of the Sentinel Trolls to help you during the fight. This will make the Wave pass much quicker than taking everyone on by yourself.
After beating every Wave, you will obtain The Ashwinder Outfit as a reward for taking on the Feldcroft Region Battle Arena.
