Where to Get Erebus in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

To acquire Erebus in Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll need to follow the Reed ending to Phantom Liberty and, during the “Somewhat Damaged” mission, veer off the main path in the Cynosure Facility to the Maintenance Room, hack the door, and loot the Erebus.

On paper, it all sounds so simple. It’s not. During “Somewhat Damaged,” a Cerberus Mech is constantly tracking and hunting you through the halls. You’re essentially on the clock. But if you can scoot past, find the Mess Hall, and then the Maintenance room, you’re golden.

Furthermore, to access the Maintenance Room, which is locked tight, you’ll need a 20 in your Technical attribute. That’s not easy to do on its own. If you do have the attribute level, hack the door open, walk inside, and scoop up the iconic submachine gun.

Alternate Route to Erebus in Cyberpunk 2077

If you do not have a 20 in Technical, as many will not at this point in the game unless they specialize their build, then you’re not out of luck yet. Instead of hacking the door, find the nearby Storage Room. You’ll find a power box to reset to open the Maintenance Room here.

No matter which path you take, you’ll walk out with Erebus!

Erebus Stats

Let’s assume you’re after Erebus. Here are the stats you can expect:

  • Tier 5 / Iconic / Power Submachine Gun
  • Attack Speed: 6.02
  • Damage: 51.03
  • Reload Speed: 1.08
  • Effective Range: 18
  • Weapon Handling: 5.01
  • +100% Headshot Damage Multiplier
  • +25% Armor Penetration

It’s a powerhouse of a submachine gun, and it should last you well into the end game of Cyberpunk 2077!
