All hail Fischl, the Prinzessin der Verurteilung, who descended upon this land by the call of fate and – well, you get it. Fischl is a beloved Electro character in Genshin Impact and even has a faithful companion, a raven named Oz. She’s a four star ranking hero who uses her incredible bow and electro powers to take down enemies. Sure, she might sound a bit outlandish and the way she talks is interesting enough, but that’s why people love her. When you give her the proper build and pair her up with others, in battle, she’s incredibly strong. That’s why we’re excited to announce that Fischl will be available for free during this 2.8 update! Here’s how to get Fischl in Genshin Impact.

How to unlock Fischl in Genshin Impact

It looks like HoYoverse is going to be extra generous during this 2.8 update. During the update you will be offered the opportunity to win Fischl in her new skin during the “Summer Fantasia” event. In the past, HoYoverse has done similar events where you could win characters such as Diona and Bennett. You need to complete challenges in order to win Fischl.

As part of the Summertime Odyssey, players will venture to an island where they complete Surfpiercer and Phantom Realms challenges in exchange for Iridescent Flotsam. That can be exchanged at the Event Store to get Fischl for free. But the new event comes with a few requirements as well, unfortunately. For one, you must be an Adventure Rank of 32 or higher. You must also have progressed far enough in the story, completing both Archon Quest Chapter II: Prologue Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves and Mona’s Story Quest Astrolabos Chapter: Act I – Beyond This World’s Stars as well.

In the Resonating Visions quest, players can collect Phantasmal Conches to get Fischl a new outfit as well. Although you can also buy the outfit once the event as well. That will cost you 1, 680 Genesis Crystals.
