Cleansing Hearts come from killing Oceanids, a type of elite mob in the game. There is a specific area on the map you can go to fight the Oceanid. How to get a Cleansing Heart in Genshin Impact

To get a Cleansing Heart in Genshit Impact, you need to kill Oceanids, an elite mob. Make sure you have some Resin so you can collect the loot after killing the boss. Head to the Oceanid elite in Liyue, which you can find east of Qingce Village. If you’re unsure of the location, refer to the map below.

Cleansing Hearts drop from level 30+ Oceanids and is part of their loot table. The Treasure Collection Cost is 40 Resin, so double-check that you have enough before starting the battle. This elite mob is known as the Rhodeia of Loch, or the Oceanid of Qingce. We recommend using a Frost character like Kaeya and an Electro character like Fischl, for instance. Freezing the Oceanid and the minions make the fight a lot easier.

Exploiting elemental weaknesses is key to defeating elite mobs and bosses in Genshin Impact. In this fight, you cannot attack the Oceanid directly.
