How to Enter Strongholds in Battle Royale

Strongholds can be found on your map and are in the shape of a tower with an S in the center. The way that Strongholds work in the Battle Royale mode is that each map contains three that will unlock at the end of the first circle’s collapse.

It’s all about timing, as you’ll want to be the first team to reach the Stronghold and successfully defuse the bomb inside to take it over. If not, then you’ll need to clear it of AI enemies as well as any other enemy players that may also be trying to take it for themselves. If you win the battle within the Stronghold, then you’ll be awarded a Loadout Crate to call in as well as a temporary UAV for your troubles.

In addition to those rewards, you’ll also receive a key for the Black Sites which are even more difficult versions of Strongholds and yield even better rewards for your troubles. More specifically, a permanent Weapon Blueprint, among other things. These look like bigger towers.

How to Enter Strongholds in DMZ

Similar to Battle Royale, Strongholds are marked on your map with a tower sporting an S in the center. Though here, Strongholds will require a key in order to be accessed. These can be found on enemies you kill or in buildings near the Strongholds. They can also be bought at Buy Stations for $5,000 if you’re desperate. Additionally, there aren’t only three, with several being available to access at once.

The same goes for DMZ in terms of objective, as you’ll want to defuse a bomb and/or kill all AI and player enemies lurking about in order to win. In DMZ, you won’t get a Loadout Crate or UAV, instead, you’ll get a lot more DMZ-specific rewards like better Contraband weapons, stronger vests, and killstreaks.

Well, that’s absolutely everything there is to know about how to enter Strongholds in Warzone 2.0 as well as an explanation of what to expect when inside and the rewards that come with the risk.
