Warzone 2.0 Al-Qatala Informant Mission Guide

Wanna earn some Contraband?

One of the great things about the newly released Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is the brand new mode that’s entered into this next era of Call of Duty alongside it, DMZ. Giving players a more focused open-world experience, DMZ forces players to use the weapons and tools they’re given a bit differently, taking the fight to hundreds of AI enemies, with some other players thrown into the mix to shake things up.

Though, one of the main gameplay mechanics at play here are the missions that players can choose to carry out for various factions in the Al Mazrah map, in return for some great rewards. A reward that players are going to want early on is an assault rifle available from the Al-Qatala Informant mission. Well, today we’re going to give you a broken-down guide on how to complete the Al-Qatala Informant mission in Warzone 2.0. Let’s check it out!

When it comes to completing the Al-Qatala Informant mission in DMZ, it’s actually not that difficult, as it just calls for you to activate a single UAV Tower. Before getting into a match, just make sure you have it toggled as active in your missions. It’ll be located under the Legion faction. You can only have 3 missions set as active at a time, but at that moment, you really only have 3 anyway. Once active, jump into a game.

After deploying into Al Mazrah, open your map and locate one of the UAV Towers. Their icon is a mini tower that looks to be radiating a signal. When active, they will be red so also be mindful that players may already be at the one you’re going to.

Once you’ve chosen a UAV Tower, head to it. You’ll know it’s a UAV Tower when you get to it because it looks like a generator with a small tower attached to it. It won’t be one of those huge sniper perches. Head to the laptop on it and hold the action button to activate it. From there, you’ll have completed the mission successfully.

Your reward for completing the Al-Qatala Informant mission in DMZ is a Contraband M4 that you can take with you on entrance into future DMZ drops. Just don’t die or you run the risk of losing it if uninsured. You’ll also earn 5,000 XP for your troubles as well!
