How to Easily Eliminate an Opponent While Mounted in Fortnite

Fortnite is a game that needs little introduction. Becoming one of the most popular videogames of all time, this battle royale shooter has inspired hundreds of knockoffs as well as been a mainstay of gaming culture since its release. The game has had a history of partnering with many different franchises and brands, especially ones relating to Disney such as Star Wars and Marvel Studios. Plenty of side quests and missions are often incorporated into these cameos, offering players rewards such as profile icons and player skins upon completion.

In the latest collaboration, Epic Games has brought the Witcher on board and has introduced a whole new host of side missions that gamers can work to complete for special rewards. One of these new quests involves taking down an enemy while mounted, which is a lot more difficult than it may seem. In this guide we cover how to easily complete this quest in Fortnite!

How Do You Get This Achievement in Fortnite?

In order to actually complete this quest in the game, players must be currently riding their mount, which can be either a Wolf or a Boar. This means that there is no way to jump off or glitch this mission, and you must eliminate your unlucky target while on the beast of your choice. Make sure to tame it when you approach, so that you can ride around on it. If not, it may try to attack you or simply run away itself, leaving you in the dust.

After you have gotten on top of your mount, your next step is to find a player to take down. To do this, try heading towards the outskirts of popular landing areas, which are many of the named locations on the map. Once there, keep your eyes peeled for easy shots and try not to be seen. Also, keep an eye on your back so that nobody can sneak up on you! Make sure to take out your target player before they see you, because if your mount gets damaged and dies you will not be given the quest achievement. Good luck!
