Fortnite Festival’s Season 1 Opening Night has plenty of rewards waiting for you including Weekend Microphone, Blinding Lights Jam Track, and the ultimate The Weekend Outfit. The first row of rewards is free, while the bottom row is locked behind a Festival Pass.

The Festival Pass costs 1800 V-Bucks (around $15) and will allow you to unlock the bottom row of rewards. Now, this still doesn’t get you the fabulous Weekend Red Jacket outfit. To get it, you need to complete the Main Stage and Jam stage challenges.

If you don’t want to wait and want to unlock the Weekend right away, you can pay an additional 1650 V-Bucks (around $13) and get all premium rewards without grinding. On the other hand, if you don’t want to pay the extra money and/or would like to grind for your Red Jacket skin, you would need to get 11,000 Festival points from challenges that will allow you to buy the rare skin.

It’s the most famous gamer’s dilemma – grind or pay up.

How Long Will the Weekend’s Red Jacket Skin Be Available?

Per the official Fortnite website, Season 1 of the Fortnite Festival will last until February 22, 2024, at 12 AM ET. Whether the skin will be available after that, we can’t tell for sure but if you really love the Weekend as an artist we suggest you pick it up before that date.
