With that being said, there have been quite a few that have come and gone since Fortnite’s inception back in 2017. So, today we’re going to be looking at the 15 rarest Fortnite gliders of all time.

The 15 Rarest Fortnite Gliders of All Time

No. 15 – HIGH OCTANE

We’ll kick things off with one of the more difficult-to-obtain gliders in Fortnite, the High Octane. This glider was the final reward in the Season 3 Battle Pass, and could only be acquired by reaching Tier 100. As you can probably imagine, this was very hard to do and the glider hasn’t appeared in the Item Store since. Making it one of the rarer Fortnite gliders out there.

No. 14 – PIVOT

Similar to other gliders on our list, the Pivot could only be obtained by purchasing a bundle. This time, an NVIDIA graphics card with the GeForce Fortnite bundle. Since this one required you to buy a whole new graphics card, it’s easy to see why so few players took the bait.

No. 13 – ROYAL X

Next up we’ve got the Royal X. Not only does this glider have a relatively simple appearance, but it’s also incredibly hard to come by. It was the final glider available in the Season 2 Battle Pass, and could only be unlocked by reaching Tier 42. This wasn’t just an unpopular time for Fortnite, but very few players were actually able to get that far in Season 2 anyway.

No. 12 – THE INTREPID

Much like the next glider on our list, this item was available during a popular time for Fortnite. However, you could only get it by progressing all the way up to Tier 79 of Season 4’s Battle Pass. Making it one of the more difficult Fortnite gliders to get your hands on.

No. 11 – COZY COASTER

The Cozy Coaster is an extremely rare Christmas-themed glider in Fortnite that was only available to purchase for three days. The only reason it’s this far down the list is because it was available during Fortnite’s peak time in popularity. Nevertheless, you’ll be hard-pressed to find this model today.

No. 10 – RAPTOR

Even though it’s technically labelled as “Uncommon”, it hasn’t been featured as an item to buy in the shop since 2018. It’s also been unobtainable since Fortnite Chapter 1, Season 1 and has shown no signs of returning since. So, it’s easy to see why it has made its way onto our list.

No. 9 – GET DOWN

Unlike some other gliders in Fortnite, the Get Down is one of the more aesthetically-pleasing options in the game. So, the reason so few players actually have it has nothing to do with its appearance. Rather, it’s one of the rarer models because it was only available for players who made it to Tier 14 on the Season 2 Battle Pass back in Chapter 1. Since then, it hasn’t appeared as a reward or as an option to buy in the Item Shop.

No. 8 – DISCOVERY GLIDER

Similar to a couple of other gliders on this list, the Discovery Glider is considered rare because it could only be acquired one way. It could not be purchased in the shop or unlocked as part of the Battle Pass. Even though it was technically free, the only way you could get it is by playing Fortnite on a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Tab S4 when they first came out back in 2018.

No. 7 – AERIAL ASSAULT ONE

The Aerial Assault 1 is one of the rarest Fortnite gliders simply because it last appeared in the very first season of the game. Even though it was relatively easy to acquire, with players only needing to reach Level 5 in the season. It hasn’t been available since October of 2017.

No. 6 – RHINESTONE RIDER

The Rhinestone Rider is another very rare breed for a few different reasons. First off, it’s not overly appealing due to its denim-like fabric, which is an immediate deterrent for some people. Then there’s the fact that it was only available in the store for less than five days.

No. 5 – SNOWFLAKE UMBRELLA

The Snowflake Umbrella is another very rare glider in Fortnite because it required players to win a Battle Royale back in Season 2. Since this was the only way to obtain the Snowflake Umbrella (and you couldn’t buy or unlock it), it remains a very hard-to-find glider in Fortnite.

No. 4 – MAKO

The Mako glider was made available way back in Season 1 in the Item Shop or by reaching Level 25. It came out when the game was still fresh in people’s minds and the fact that it features a relatively basic design. Very few people ever really had it, making it one of the rarest Fortnite gliders to date.

No. 3 – SIR GLIDER THE BRAVE

What may surprise you is that Sir Glider the Brave was actually completely free for any player who made it to Tier 35 of the Season 2 Battle Pass in Fortnite. The issue is that very few people actually made it this far, and the medieval glider hasn’t returned to the game since.

No. 2 – RAINBOW RIDER

Players could unlock the Rainbox Rider as part of the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass after reaching Tier 15. Even though there are a lot of streamers today that use this vibrant and colourful glider. It remains one of the harder-to-find gliders in the game because it was an exclusive item from Season 3 and never returned to the Item Shop.

No. 1 – DOUBLE HELIX

The Double Helix first appeared as part of the exclusive Nintendo Switch console bundle. It’s undoubtedly a very sleek and stylish glider, yet it remains the rarest Fortnite glider simply because so few people bought the Nintendo Switch specifically with the Double Helix bundle. It’s also never been featured in the Item Shop since its release.

So, there you have it! Those are the top 15 rarest gliders Fortnite has ever seen. If you enjoyed our quick breakdown on Fortnite gliders, be sure to check out our guides section for more information on other popular gaming titles.
