The time has come for Fortnite players. The Witcher’s own, Geralt of Rivia has entered the game after long-awaited anticipation. But alongside the Witcher himself is a loadout of his most well-known Witcher tools. One in particular, the Witcher’s Steel Sword is one of the most coveted, being a new basher that players can use against their enemies. But it’s a weapon that has to be unlocked through an in-game quest. So, how do you get the Witcher’s Silver Sword in Fortnite? Let’s explain the best way to get it!
How to Get Witcher’s Silver Sword in Fortnite
In total, there are six different in-game items that players can unlock that are The Witcher-themed. There’s a loading screen, back bling, a spray, an emote, the Silver Sword, and Geralt himself, with an additional page of six items becoming available to earn as you progress and get the first page.
Each item has a specific quest tied to it in order for it to unlock. Geralt, however, requires you to unlock the first five times on the page, allowing you access to him after that point. So not only can this guide help you get at least the Silver Sword, but it’ll aid you in your quest to get Geralt.

The Witcher’s Silver Sword’s specific quest for unlock is called “Because sometimes even two swords are not enough” and employs players with the requirement of dealing a total of 500 damage to enemies with a melee weapon in order to complete it. The cool thing about the quest is that it doesn’t have to be other players.
I bring that point up because you can try to complete two quests at the same time. Another Witcher quest is called “Defeat a boss” which unlocks the Weapons of the Witcher back bling and calls for players to locate and kill The Ageless whose located at the Citidel.
You could, theoretically, kill two birds with one stone and try your hand at dealing damage to The Ageless with a melee weapon and get moth quests accomplished. In my testing, I found that the best way to rack up melee damage points was by using the Shockwave Hammer.
Especially against a foe such as The Ageless, the stronger the weapon, the better. So if you can get a Shockwave Hammer, whether going for a boss or not, you’re going to get the best results as it deals 75 damage for every hit.
