How to Pile Up Chests One on Top of the Other in Lego Fortnite

Yes, you read that right. Chest stacking is possible with a small trick revealed to us by a Redditor u/cynicaldarkrai. Basically, it’s done in a couple of steps.

  1. Place a couple of chests on the floor, next to a wall.
  2. Go to the building menu and select a floor tile of your choice (a cheap one).
  3. Build a floor tile right above the chests sitting on the floor.
  4. Place new chests on top of those floor tiles.
  5. Destroy the floor tiles.
  6. The top chests will fall on the chests below them, thus giving you stacked chests in your base.

Here’s a link to the video of the Redditor showing how to do it.

Do You Really Need to Stack Up Chests?

Even though someone could say, “Well, you don’t have to stack smaller level chests if you just craft bigger chests with more space,” it’s really not that simple. Bigger chests cost plenty of resources, like Knotroots and Marble Slabs, and many players are in a situation where they can’t save up to do this or are simply playing in the early game when Large, Grand and Legendary storage chests are just objects of their dreams.

Stacking up Small and Medium storage chests can prove to be a great solution for both beginners and experienced players with a bit more resources farmed stacked up.

How to Better Organize Your Base in Lego Fortnite

Whether you’re stacking your chests or not, there are a couple of ground rules that can help you organize your base more easily and streamline multiple processes without breaking a sweat.

  • Build a Workbench and Stone Breaker right next to each other and then craft chests containing only Wood and Granite next to them.
  • Build a Grill, and next to it, place a chest containing only food.
  • Put chests with fabric items next to the Spinning Wheel.

Constructing this layout will help you stay organized and allow you to move quicker through your base always knowing where you keep each item. Like in real life, when everything is neatly packed and grouped, everyday things are easier.
