How to cook Sunshine Sprat for Albedo in Genshin Impact

When Albedo asks you to cook up a Sunshine Sprat for him, he’ll actually give you the recipe to learn. You may have missed this part, so open up your inventory or hit up the local cooking station and learn the recipe. Here’s what it looks like:

Sunshine Sprat increases all party members’ Shield Strength by 20 to 30% for 300 seconds. The ingredients to make Sunshine Sprat are as follows:

  • Butter x3
  • Fish x3
  • Salt x1
  • Small Lamp Grass x1

Butter is a processed ingredient, which you can make from two containers of milk. Head to the local cooking station to process these. You can catch fish out near any body of water, most abundant near the ocean and coastline.

Salt is sold only by General Goods vendors, so head to Mondstadt to Liyue to pick some up. Small Lamp Grass is found primarily in Mondstadt, around the Starfell Valley, Galesong Hill, and Windwail Highlands. There are many areas to farm it, so refer to our guide if you need some help.

Next, cook up one Sunshine Sprat, and hand it over to Albedo to continue in the questline. If you’re like me and didn’t have any salt, you can quickly fast travel to Mondstadt and go to the General Goods vendor to the right of the crafting table to pick some up.
