Lantern Rite is in full effect in Genshin Impact, and it’s time for another set of quests to complete. One of today’s Lantern Rite Tales II quests is to help out chef Smiley Yanxiao in Liyue. The chef is over at Wangshu Inn, and you can open up your Events Overview tab and navigate to the Lantern Rite Tales section to get started. Here’s how to complete Yanxiao’s Crazy Kitchen in Genshin Impact.
Smiley Yanxiao is in the kitchen of Wangshu Inn, and he’s struggling to keep up with the rush of customers from Lantern Rite. Teleport to the Wangshu Inn waypoint, make your way inside and drop down to the kitchen to speak with him. Make sure you have two Chicken-Mushroom Skewers in advance to appease the customers who have been waiting.
How to Complete Yanxiao’s Crazy Kitchen in Genshin Impact
Speak with Yanxiao at nighttime, between 19:00 and 23:00, and make sure to bring two Chicken-Mushroom Skewers with you. The recipe to make skewers is one mushroom and one fowl per dish. After speaking with Smiley, you can glide down to the ground level of Wangshu and find the two customers sitting at the table. You should pay attention to their orders, so you know what to tell Smiley. In case you miss it, here are their preferences:
- Holderlin: Vegetarian Abalone
- Caspar: Jueyun Chili Chicken
Return to Smiley by teleporting back up to the Inn and tell him Holderlin wants the Vegetarian Abalone and Casper wants the Jueyun Chicken. He will send you to deliver some food to Aunt Qiao, who’s standing near the waypoint at Stone Gate. Hand her Aunt Qiao’s Almond Tofu, and then glide southwest to deliver another meal to Zhuyu.
After making the two deliveries, you will need to grab 3 Almon, 3 Tofu, and 3 Rice from Second Life. Or, if you already have these ingredients, you can teleport back to Wangshu Inn and deliver them to Smiley.
Finally, you’ll need to give Xiao Lanterns to Smiley and Jiangxue in the Wangshu Inn area. If you don’t have any, you can teleport over to Liyue and use the crafting bench in the Lantern Rite area to make two. After delivering the two Xiao Lanterns, you’ll receive 30 Primogems, 20000 Mora, and 100 Festive Fever.
