This quest will let you unlock the Exotic Fusion Rifle Arbalest, and if you have been playing for a while you may not even need to use an Upgrade Module. So without further ado, here is how you can get the weapon and complete this quest in Destiny 2 Lightfall.

Take Down Enemies

Firstly, you will need to speak with Shaw Han to start the quest, and then you will need to defeat the Traveler’s enemies. The progress bar is out of 100, but the stronger an enemy that you defeat the more progress you will receive. Head to Sorrow’s Harbor so that you can finish this quest off quickly by defeating the numerous easy Thralls and Acolytes who you can face off with there.

Defeat Hostiles with Abilities or Your Super

You can actually remain in Sorrow’s Harbor for this second step, since all you need to do is use your abilities or Super to fill a progress bar of 50. Again, this will be finished quicker if you take on harder enemies, but obviously they will pose more of a threat to you in combat. Try using Threadlings as a Warlock (if you’re using the Strand subclass) since these are very efficient at taking out enemies.

Complete the A Guardian Rises Quest

If you have already finished this one you can skip it, however for newer players you may not yet have done it. Speak with Shaw Han at the Cosmodrome to be assigned it, and then start doing this 21-step quest that is mainly a tutorial for starting out the game. There are a few strikes you will need to do while you complete this quest, as well as a Lost Sector and several bounties.

Speak With Banshee-44

Banshee-44 marks the halfway point of this quest, and speaking with Banshee will assign you the next objectives for this quest. You can find Banshee in the Tower Courtyard, which is where you will need to travel in order to complete this rather simple objective. You’ll have to head back to Neomuna after talking with Banshee, so keep that in mind.

Finish Public Events and Defeat Combatants

You’ll need to finish three Public Events and take out 100 combatants in order to pass this next objective. We recommend that you simply travel between the two combat zones in Neomuna, since by doing this it is likely you will be almost finished with the 100 combatants part of this step after you’ve completed the three Public Events. If you aren’t simply return to Sorrow’s Harbor and grind out the last few enemies needed.

Eliminate Adversaries with a Fusion Rifle

Your last actual step in this quest is to take down enemies with a Fusion Rifle or a Linear Fusion Rifle. Your progress bar for this one is a little larger, since it requires 150 to fill. The best option to finish this step is to return back to our favorite place, Sorrow’s Harbor, where you can quickly grind out enemies. However, if you have finished the Lightfall campaign already don’t discount Terminal Overloads where you can get Heavy Ammo for your Fusion Rifle.

Have Another Conversation with Banshee-44

In case you missed the gunsmith, you’ll need to speak with Banshee again in order to get the Arbalest. Simply hand in the quest once you reach the Tower Courtyard and you will be given the Arbalest. Congratulations on obtaining the exotic weapon, and good luck using it in combat Guardian!
