How to Apply

As the menu is easy to grasp, simply go to the ‘Office’ tab in the Career Mode hub. Under this section you will see ‘Browse Jobs’, scroll to this to view advertised management jobs that are available to apply for. These advertised jobs are randomized so do not be disappointed if your favourite team is not looking for a new manager yet. On this screen you may scroll through the available jobs that have been offered to you. You will see Offered Wage, Objective for the Club this season, Budget Details, Starting 11 Line-up and the Club performance. There is an indicator at the bottom of the screen to Accept the Job or go Back.

If you are not interested in these positions, go back and continue your Career Mode as normal, other advertised positions will come up. Once you have applied for the position of your choosing, simulate a couple of days. You should receive a notification in your Inbox that the Club has responded to your offer. They will either formally offer you the position or withdraw. If you do not have any job offers, do not fret. It can take time. But in the meanwhile, try these tips below to improve your chances of receiving job offers.

Improving Your Chances

Whilst you cannot apply for international job offers, you will get sent them from time to time so do be sure to enable ‘International job offers’ in Career Settings. Similar to waiting for a Club to get back to you after applying for a position, be sure to regularly check your Inbox for possible international jobs. Job offers are heavily influenced by your in-game reputation. Improve this by:

  • Focussing on your Youth Academy – scout young talent regularly and fulfil objectives to get your players into the first team.
  • Marketing – under ‘Finance’-‘Transaction’ increase your jersey sales and gain a larger, loyal fanbase. This can be done by performing well regularly on the pitch and winning matches. The ‘Brand Exposure’ tab in ‘Office’-‘Objectives’ provides marketing goals for you to hit to build your brands following.
  • Player Performances – Be sure to train your players in drills, do not ignore this as it will lower you player’s overall abilities on the pitch.
  • Finances- The FIFA system grades you on transfer negotiations, be sure to get good grades as often as you can. Adjust wage budgets and transfer budgets when necessary. Increase the Club’s money by Marketing.

Lastly, check ‘Browse Jobs’ regularly. As it is randomized you may miss available job offerings so check the ‘Browse Jobs’ section as often as you can. Those are our tips to help increase your Manager’s Reputation and chances to get more job offers on the table.
