If you’re at the stage in Hogwarts Legacy when you learn Wingardium Leviosa, then you’ve probably already realized how difficult it is to manage your spell diamond. 16 slots may seem like a lot, but it’s really not when you have a look at just how many spells you need access to at any given time. Cutting down on what spells you need slotted is important. That’s why you need to know about this Wingardium Leviosa trick in Hogwarts Legacy.

When you first learn Wingardium Leviosa, you’ll receive it as a slottable spell like every other spell you learn. What the game doesn’t tell you is that you don’t need Wingardium Leviosa equipped in order to cast it.

The summoning spell, Accio, is one you should be intimately familiar with. You learn it early, and it’s one of the best early-game spells for combat. You also use it to solve puzzles throughout the Highlands, so it’s one you’ll always have equipped.

Well, if you cast Accio on an object after learning Wingardium Leviosa, that spell will automatically be cast on it once Accio pulls it to you.

A lot of puzzles require you to combine the use of Wingardium Leviosa and Accio, so this interaction is perfect. Even if you just need to levitate an object, Accio is a much more convenient option than the actual Leviosa spell.

The only caveat is that you need to get next to the object in order for Leviosa to cast. So, if you need to levitate something from a distance, Accio won’t work.

This one little trick will save you a lot of headaches. So, don’t ignore it.

Use this tip and you’ll never have to slot Wingardium Leviosa again. Follow Gamer Journalist on Facebook for more Hogwarts Legacy tricks like this.
