There are fifteen different assassination challenges on Dubai in Hitman 3, and impaling Carl Ingram’s face on his oil-rig model is among the best. The process is a long one, as there’s a lot of waiting, but it’s worth it in the end. If you want to bang this challenge out quickly, here’s how to complete the Black Gold Eye assassination challenge in Dubai in Hitman 3.
You can start in the atrium lobby on any difficulty. There’s no extra equipment required for this one. Refer to the video below for a visual walkthrough, or scroll down for a written guide.
Hitman 3: How to complete Black Gold Eye on Dubai
- Acquire the assassin’s disguise
- Speak with Omar’s assistant and meet with Carl Ingram
- Eliminate Hans Lucht and photograph his body
- Show the photograph to Omar’s assistant
- Eliminate Carl in his room while he’s at his desk
Acquire the assassin’s disguise
Start in the atrium lobby, and walk up the stairs and take a right. Continue until you get to the area where the assassin is refusing to get frisked. The reason for this is because he’s hiding a pistol. When the mission story progress bar approaches zero, walk away toward the garden area opposite the room.
The assassin will make his way toward you, at which point you should toss a coin on the ground and subdue him. Take his disguise, but make sure to drop your pistol because you will need to go through the pat-down process. Don’t worry about hiding the body; nobody walks over there.
Speak with Omar’s assistant and meet with Carl
Next, go back to the spot where the man was refusing to get frisked. Agree to the pat-down, and then head up the stairs and speak with the woman. She will thank you for agreeing to protocol and ask you to follow her. She leads you to the meeting room, where you’ll have a brief meeting with Carl and get a mission brief. Carl wants you to take out a journalist named Hans Lucht, who is too nosy for his own good.Â
Eliminate Hans Lucht and photograph his body
Head back downstairs into the atrium lobby, and you should see a man with a maroon blazer and glasses. Speak with Mr. Lucht, and he will begin following you. Lead him anywhere private to subdue him, and make sure to take a photograph of his body. I chose the bathroom nearby, which is a safe enough spot where nobody goes.Â
Show the photograph to Omar’s assistant
Now, return to the reception desk next to the meeting room, and show the photograph to the woman. She will escort you up to Carl’s room, which takes a long time, so be patient. When you get up there, speak with Carl, and he will clear the room. At this point, go into the adjacent room and throw a coin in the corner to get the guard’s attention. Subdue Carl’s guard, and then quickly go back to Carl.
Eliminate Carl Ingram and Complete Black Gold Eye
While Carl’s at his desk, you can walk up behind him and smash his face into his model oil-rig. A prompt should come up saying you completed the Black Gold Eye assassination challenge in Dubai.Â
You can hide both of their bodies in the closet behind Carl to maintain your stealth assassin status. Feel free to pick up Carl’s bodyguard’s disguise if you need it for the Chameleon challenge. That’s all there is to it. Enjoy!
