As you enter into act two, the area gets even larger, but there’s an area you might run into while exploring. To eliminate the messaging in Genshin Impact saying that you have lost your way amidst the mist, you must complete the ‘A Trip Through Fog and Wind’ quest. You can get this quest by visiting Twinning Isle and locating a hidden cave. Inside the cave, you can find some illegible notes and a journal.
To find the cave on Twinning Isle, teleport to the waypoint and glide off the west side of the mountain. Immediately beneath you, there’s an area with some unstable rocks. Break the rocks to reveal the cave with the illegible notes and a journal. The quest should automatically pop up in your journal.
How to complete A Trip Through Fog and Wind in Genshin Impact
The journal says that you can pierce through the fog in the middle of the day, between 10:00 and 14:00 in-game time. Navigate the quest, which will lead you to a small island just north of Twinning Isle. Make sure your in-game time is set between 10:00 and 14:00 in the game. Next, follow the stream that appears in front of your Waverider.
Continue following the stream of wind, which will lead you through the waters and ultimately bring you to a mysterious island in the very northern portion of the Golden Apple Archipelago. When you get to the island, you’ll need to climb the small mountain and discover a mural along with three chests. It’s a simple quest, but it can be confusing to discover where to start it.
