Genshin Impact – where to find the two Special Treasures locations

Who doesn’t love a little adventure with a spot of buried treasure at the end? The only thing I’ve ever dug out of the ground in real life is a funny looking rock, so if you need your thirst for treasure quenched, you can participate in the Lost Riches event in Genshin Impact. If you’re savvy enough, there are two Special Treasures waiting to be uncovered. Here’s where to find the two Special Treasures in Genshin Impact.

Assuming you’re at least Adventure Rank 30 and have completed the quest “Ritou Escape Plan,” you can participate in the event. This is the second time Lost Riches has run, though the first time was in Liyue, while this time it’s in Inazuma. The event map will point you to various treasure areas where you can uncover Iron Coins, which can be exchanged for all sorts of goodies. The real cool stuff, though, are the two Special Treasures, which are buried somewhere in the islands. You can dig up the clues to the Special Treasure locations along with Iron Coins, but you don’t actually have to have the completed map to dig them up as long as you know where to look.

Where to find the Two Special Treasures

Here are the two locations for the Special Treasures in Genshin Impact:

1. Special Treasure 1: South of Araumi
2. Special Treasure 2: Fort Mumei

The first treasure is located in Araumi, on Narukami Island. The treasure is on a peak on the western shore of the area; deploy a Seelie and it’ll lead you there if you’re close enough. You’ll be led to a small puzzle with a handful of tablets you need to activate in a particular order. Just check the Clues section of your handbook to get the hint you need; there’ll be blue squares corresponding with the correct tablets. Light them up and the treasure will be revealed.

The second treasure is located in Fort Mumei near Yashiori Island. It’s an easy hop, just teleport to the Waypoint and sail there. Deploy the Seelie again to be led to an identical tablet puzzle. Same as before, just light them up in the correct order and the loot’s all yours.
