Added in version 1.5 of Genshin Impact, the Serenitea Pot is a sort of portable house that you can carry around with you and enter at will. It’s neat to have a home all your own, but with all the companions you accrue in this game, it’d be kind of lame if they couldn’t visit it. Luckily, as of version 1.6, they can! Here’s how to invite companions to your Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact.
If you don’t already have your Serenitea Pot unlocked, you need to be at least Adventure Rank 35, have completed the Archon Quest “A New Star Approaches,” and the regular Quest “A Teapot to Call Home.” That questline will introduce you to the Serenitea Pot, as well as its guardian spirit, Tubby. Tubby will have a special quest for you entitled “Idle Teapot Talk” that will unlock the ability to invite companions into your little realm via the Realm Dispatch item.
How to Invite Companions to Your Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact
When you’ve got the Realm Dispatch, you can talk to Tubby to edit the placement of buildings and objects inside the Pot. The edit menu will now have a “Companion” tab, which you can use to drop any one of your companions off in your realm for a visit.
Placing companions in your realm will passively generate companionship XP toward their friendship levels, and you can also have little chats with them. They’ll even give you gifts, though you’ll need to earn their favor first by placing their favorite furnishings. You can get a hint about which characters like which things by checking the Furnishing Blueprints in the Realm Depot. You can buy these blueprints to put down all of those furnishings at once, but remember that you need to actually own the furnishings first.
If you’ve got all the right furnishings, talk to the companion in question in the realm and click “Invite” to receive a present from them.
