Genshin Impact 1.6 is now available, bringing in lots of new quests and content with it for travelers to explore. The first quest you’ll venture on will bring you to a new location known as the Golden Apple Archipelago. Unfortunately, the new area is covered in fog, so you’ll need to light a path to get a better look at everything. That leads us to our first quest in the new update, which entails lighting up some devices. In this guide, we’ll show you how and where to find and light up all the devices in Genshin Impact.
Where to find and light up all the devices in Genshin Impact
To find and light up all the devices in Genshin Impact, you’ll need to visit Twinning Isle, Broken Isle, and Minacious Isle in The Waverider and activate the three teleport waypoints. After the three waypoints on the islands are activated, return to Pudding Isle to complete the quest.
You can refer to the map below to see the route and the layout of the Golden Apple Archipelago, which consists of four islands.
From the starting location of Pudding Isle, hop in The Waverider and follow the Glimmering Beacons. As you approach a Glimmering Beacon, it will pulse and activate, revealing the next Beacon to lead you on a path. Make sure to activate them all by bringing the boat next to each Beacon. The Beacons are all laid out in a route that will lead you to each of the three islands.
You will pass other small islands and even a shipwreck en route, but you do not need to visit them for this particular quest. Feel free to explore as you wish, though! Make use of The Waverider’s boost by using your normal sprint key. The boat has a stamina bar as you would when playing as any character.
When you arrive on each island, look for the teleport waypoint icon, and activate it. Complete this on each of the islands until all three are active. If you forget where you parked The Waverider, look for the anchor icon on the map. Alternatively, you can summon it by activating and using the Waverider Waypoints on each of the islands.
After you light the third device on Minacious Isle, you’ll need to teleport back to Pudding Isle. From there, you’ll have a nice view of the newly revealed Archipelago. You will receive 60 Primogems, 3 Hero’s Wit, 30,000 Mora upon quest completion. Next, you can venture into the Midsummer Island Adventure and explore more new content!
