Genshin Impact - how to complete Battle of Revenge

Genshin Impact – how to complete Battle of Revenge

The tricky thing about online games like Genshin Impact that have their own time-based ecosystems is that the pieces don’t always line up when it comes to triggering certain quests. In layman’s terms, sometimes the game expects you to have a certain thing done when said thing was never offered to you. This is a problem some Genshin Impact players have been encountering when it comes to the World Quest “Battle of Revenge.” Here’s how to complete “Battle of Revenge” in Genshin Impact.

There’s two potentially frustrating aspects to making this quest happen the way it’s supposed to. The first problem is its prerequisite. Before you can even begin “Battle of Revenge,” you need to clear a Daily Commission quest in Inazuma titled “An Art to be Honed.” Since Daily Commissions are randomized every day, there’s no surefire way to ensure this quest gets dropped in your inbox, so you’re just going to have to cross your fingers.

How to Complete Battle of Revenge in Genshin Impact

After “An Art to be Honed” has been completed, you’ll need to simply wait a while before “Battle of Revenge” shows up. And I don’t mean in-game, I mean real-time. The appearance of this quest is apparently very buggy; some players have reported it not showing up at all even after “An Art to be Honed” has been completed.

Some believe that the dialogue options you choose at the tail end of “An Art to be Honed” affect the spawning of the quest, with the correct option supposedly being “why did you post the commission,” but the jury’s still out on that. Worst case scenario, you might just have to wait and complete “An Art to be Honed” again.

Once the World Quest marker for “Battle of Revenge” shows up in Inazuma, actually finishing the quest is simple. Asakura will ask you to defeat a Kairagi and take back his stolen weapon. Just go to the designated spot, beat up what you’re told to beat up, take the sword and return. Boom, done.
