As football fans anxiously wait for the new season to begin, FIFA and Electronic Arts Sports will be releasing FIFA 23 on September 30, 2022. This will be the 30th installment of the game and the final of what has been one of the most recognized partnerships in Video Gaming and Entertainment.

Despite FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) taking the headlines year after year, it is fair to say that EA Sports have improved Career Mode bit by bit introducing features such as; individual player training, create-a-club, and improved transfers mechanism over the past few editions of FIFA. Not to be afraid gaffers and coaches alike! Do you want a long-term goalkeeper? Or a guaranteed 20-25 goals marksman to take to Champions League glory? Here are just some of the hottest names in football who could potentially have a high potential in FIFA 23 Career Mode.

FIFA 23 Best Career Mode Prospect Predictions

Adam Hlozek

Freshly signing for German outfit Bayer Leverkusen for a reported £12 million, Adam Hlozek has fastly become one of the hottest prospects in Czech and Eastern European football. His move to the Bundesliga will surely excite FIFA fans as EA will most likely increase his base OVR from last year’s 77. 27 goal contributions in all competitions in 46 appearances is no mean feat for a man who is yet to celebrate his 20th birthday. A quick and fast forward player, the Czech international is perfect for all types of managers in FIFA 23, whether you like short passing link up play, or a long ball forward taking advantage of your opponents backline, Hlozek will surely be a hot topic in Career Mode this upcoming season.

Orkun Kokcu

A technical playmaker with both feet (hence the 5* weak foot), Orkun Kokcu has been one of the standout players for Dutch side Feyenoord helping them to reach the inaugural UEFA Conference league final only for them to lose 1-0 to Jose Mourinho’s A.S Roma. Kokcu is also deadly on set pieces and with a steady 70 FK Accuracy and a FIFA 22 potential of 85, expect the Turkish’s stats and potential to rise on the next version of the game. A perfect signing for anyone looking to bolster their midfield or hand out the coveted n.10 jersey, Kokcu looks like to be a mainstay for many players on Career Mode throughout the season.

Alex Scott

After a breakout season, Bristol City’s Young Player of the Year could cement himself as one of the ones to watch in the EFL Championship this season. A brave, technical, and versatile mainstay in the Robins’ midfield last season, snap him up from Bristol City for a cheap price of just £800k. Needing a young prospect or a starter to get you out of a sticky situation in January? 66 rated and 84 potential (FIFA 22) Scott could be the player just for you.

These are just some of the many talents available on FIFA 23 Career Mode. FIFA 23 launches worldwide on September 30.
