With the addition of the “Steel Reign” update to Fallout 76, a variety of new features have been added to the game, the most interesting of which is the ability to craft legendary-grade items, as well as a new legendary power system. However, in order to make legendary stuff, you need rare, legend-worthy crafting recipes, and stuff like that isn’t exactly laying around in the street after a nuclear apocalypse. Luckily, there are enterprising merchants like Minerva out and about. Here’s where to find Minerva in Fallout 76.
Minerva is a new merchant NPC added in the Steel Reign update. You can barter and buy stuff from her like any other merchant, but the difference is the quality of her selection. Minerva stocks plans and recipes for high-quality gear and weaponry. If you’ve got the gold bullion, she’s got the information you need to become a post-apocalyptic warlord. The only problem is that Minerva’s a caravaneer, which means store (as well as the existence of the store itself) are a bit erratic. There is a consistent pattern you can follow to find her, though.
Where to find Minerva in Fallout 76
Minerva can be found in Fallout 76 at regular intervals throughout the week. You’ll know she’s open for business when one of two events are running: “Minerva’s Emporium” and “Minerva’s Big Sale.” The former runs from Monday to Wednesday, and is considered her normal business hours. The latter runs from Thursday to the following Monday, and is a discount period with all merchandise at a 25% discount.
In addition to her schedule, you need to know where she sets up shop. There are three spots in Appalachians where Minerva’s store can pop up:
- Fort Atlas: To the east of Monongah on Route 63
- Foundation: In the southern section of the Savage Divide
- The Crater: In the northeastern section of Toxic Valley
As long as one of the two events is running, Minerva will definitely show up in one of these spots. Remember, though, her merchandise changes daily, so if she doesn’t have what you’re looking for, you’ll just have to check back later.
