Does Hogwarts Legacy Have a Photo Mode? Answered

Say cheese!

Being able to capture your best memories in some sort of medium is ideal for it to become a legacy shared through generations. Portraits, photos, videos, letters, you name it. Now, in the world of video games, there is a mechanic that is quite loved generally by the players, and that is the ability to take photos in-game. Not only that, you will be able to have the camera float around the surroundings to position it for the perfect pic for the scene you are experiencing. Does Hogwarts Legacy Have a Photo Mode?

Photo Mode in a Wizarding World game will make the most sense, right? I mean, let alone the colors and sparkles that get all over the place when casting a spell, imaging encountering trolls, dragons, or even the feared Dementors in the wild. Surely, being able to capture that moment of dread and action will be a wise move by the developers at Avalanche Software. However, I’m sad to report that, for the time being, there is no Photo Mode available on Hogwarts Legacy. This is some bad news to content creators in general and the game itself in particular. I mean, what better marketing tool than letting your players take pictures of what could be one of the biggest releases of the year?

Having said that, of course there is a possibility for this mode to be included in a future update or patch. I mean, take a look at God of War Ragnarök! The game didn’t have a Photo Mode until one month after its release. They are significantly similar games in terms of size, so I do believe that it is possible to include this mode eventually. However, this is only me hoping for the best. Let’s see if Avalanche Software sees that as well.

So, if you really want to do some Photo Mode, screenshots are the only way to go for now. Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if experience modders would be able to integrate a fan-made Photo Mode for Hogwarts Legacy on Windows once it is fully released. One can only dream once in a while.
