Survivors and Teachable Perks in Dead By Daylight Explained

Does Dead by Daylight Have Cross Progression

Can you take your progress anywhere?

These days, just about every player has at least one online multiplayer title that they latch onto, creating an environment that they know they will always be able to relax in and let their hair down after a long day. And most of them, at least recently, actually allow you to take all of the progress you’ve made during your time in it with you across many if not all of the platforms it is actually playable on.

It’s typically handled by signing into a specific service that the game provides free of charge, allowing you to connect every console you have to it. You’ll find this feature in Call of Duty, Overwatch 2, Rogue Company, and even Fall Guys. But, can horror fans expect to get the same kind of cross-progression feature with the asymmetric multiplayer survival horror title, Dead by Daylight? Allow me to explain because it’s kind of a tricky answer.

Does Dead by Daylight Have Cross Progression

When answering the question of whether or not Dead by Daylight offers cross-progression, it’s kind of a bummer, as the game currently does not offer any kind of feature such as this for console players. Though there is a glimmer of hope, as the game’s developer, Behaviour Interactive has said that this type of feature is in the works, and is planned for a future update. Though no release date for it has been hinted at. Fingers crossed it is soon though.

Though, on a positive note, players on PC playing via Steam are actually able to share their progression between Steam and Google Stadia until it shuts down in early 2023. To do this, you just have to sign into your Behaviour Interactive account on both platforms and select to link the platforms.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to access all of your progress and inventory as well as all purchased content like DLC and skins. Only one account can be linked per platform so make sure to choose the right account. You can also unlink accounts as well if you’d like which makes it easy to fix things if you happen to link the wrong account and platforms.

But, now you know all you need to know about whether or not Dead by Daylight offers players cross-progression across gaming platforms. Be sure to check out some of our other great Dead by Daylight guides to be kept up to date on how things work within it.
