Diablo 2 Resurrected Runes FAQ

How to find Runes

Runes can be found in various places depending on their quality. While you can find Runes randomly through world drops, the most popular method to find Runes is by doing Countess runs and the Hellforge quest. Countess runs are quick, and the loot table almost guarantees rune drops on every kill. In normal, Countess can drop up to Ral Rune in Normal difficulty, up to Ko in Nightmare, and up to Lo in Hell.

How to get High Runes

An easy way to get High Runes is by trading up for them by using the Horadric Cube. Each rune can be upgraded to a higher rune quality. For instance, combine two Sur Runes and a Flawless Amethyst to make a Ber Rune. Alternatively, you can trade other players Hellfire Torches for High Runes.
