Diablo 2 Resurrected – Best Amazon Builds

Diablo 2 Resurrected – Best Amazon Builds

The Amazon is a master of both javelin and bow, and she has magical abilities to show her dominance on the battlefield. There are two main Amazon builds in Diablo 2 Resurrected, and then a few sub-builds you can specialize in from there. In this guide, we will cover the two basic builds, which include Javazon and Bowazon. Depending on how you like to play, you may opt for one over the other. We aim to make this guide a good starting point for new and returning players looking to try out this class.

We have three guides down below, two of which focus on PvM (player-versus-monster) and one for dueling and PvP. If you are new to the class and Diablo in general, start with one of the PvM builds, depending on if you like using Bows or Javelins better. That’s just our recommendation, though, so play whatever you like. You can also check out our Rune Words and recipes guides if you are not sure of the combinations.

Best Amazon Builds in Diablo 2 Resurrected

Javelin (Javazon) PvM Build

The Lightning Javazon does amazing single target and multi-target damage, making any difficulty a breeze. You want 52% Faster Hit Recovery and 52% (or 89%) Increased Attack Speed for breakpoints. Some pros to this build are that you can achieve maxed resistances, get 11K+ charged strikes, 4K+ Lightning Fury, and guaranteed piercing attacks. The build below is fully obtainable at level 98, but you will be doing very well before that, regardless.

Bow (Bowazon) Build

The classic Windforce Bow (Bowazon) Amazon build is an all-time favorite and a build every Diablo veteran has tried. However, as Faith came around, some players are not a fan. This build will focus on the Windforce and utilize our speed, dexterity, and incredible damage. Increased Attack Speed is of utmost importance here, so go for the highest breakpoints possible.

The challenging part of this build is getting one shot due to having no health. It’s the life of a Bowazon in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Survival requires good positioning of your Valkyrie and Decoy.

PvP Bowazon Build

The PvP Bowazon Amazon build in Diablo 2 Resurrected is a crowd-favorite and one of the most enjoyable to play, in my opinion. Take advantage of Guided Arrows against players with teleport, and follow up with some Multi Arrow spray. Against summoners, you can simply spray multi arrows and then hunt them down. Otherwise, kite your opponents by outrunning them with your faster movement speed and firing some guided arrows in their direction until they drop.

You want to hit 52% or 86% Faster Hit Recovery and 92% IAS breakpoints utilizing gear and charms. Anything past these two breakpoints is wasted potential elsewhere. The build will not win every duel, but it’s a force to be reckoned with, but it’s extremely fun to play nonetheless.

Skills

  • Guided Arrow: 20 Points
  • Multiple Shot: 11 Points (Max Arrows)
  • Critical Strike: 16 Points
  • Evade: 16 Points
  • Dodge: 16 Points
  • Avoid: 16 Points
  • Jab: 1 Point
  • Valkyrie: 1 Point
  • Strafe: 1 Point
  • Pierce: 1 Point

Stats

  • Strength: Enough to use Faith
  • Dexterity: All points go here
  • Vitality: Base
  • Energy: Base

Gear

  • Weapon: Faith Grand Matron Bow
  • Weapon Switch: Call to Arms Flail or Crystal Sword for Battle Command and Battle Orders
  • Switch Shield: Lidless Wall or Stormshield
  • Helm: Tiara with 30% FRW and 3 Sockets for 3x 40% ED/15% IAS Jewel
  • Gloves: Dracul’s Grasp, Crafted +2 Passive and Magic/20% IAS/Knockback
