Dead by Daylight is one of the few games that can have you both laughing and screaming in terror at the same time. As your heart accelerates at the jump scares and the thought of being caught and hooked. It can be tough to survive and not wind up a victim. Fortunately, the game has a perk system that allows you to build up your survivor to counteract certain killers. But Dead by Daylight has a vast collection of perks to choose from. We know it can be a little overwhelming! So, with this in mind we decided to give our readers a helping hand. Our Dead By Daylight Perks Tier List ranks the game’s perks from best to will downright get you killed.

Dead By Daylight Perks Tier List

The five-tier list ranks from S, the best of the best, to E, being the worst out there. This ranking is based on currently most used perks, how easy they are to use, and if they would be valuable to use. Tier S Perks

  • Self-Care – Allows healing without a Med Pack.
  • Dead Hard – This allows you to use adrenaline when injured.
  • Spine Chill – You will get a notification when the killer is looking in your direction.
  • Borrowed Time – Can be used to rescue a hooked survivor and keep them from being injured by the killer.
  • For the People – Causes a broken status effect when healing another survivor by one health state.
  • Boon: Circle of Healing – Survivors can heal without a med kit in a area covered by a totem.
  • Sole Guard – After being healed from the ground and get hit again you won’t go down but deeply wounded.
  • Technician – Prevents the generator from exploding when you miss a skill check.
  • Bond – You can see the aura of other survivors.
  • Empathy – You can see the aura of injured survivors.
  • Head-On – When leaving a locker near the killer. The killer will be stunned for 3 seconds.

Tier A Perks

  • Deliverance – After saving a hooked survivor, you can unhook yourself on your first hook.
  • Sole Survivor – After survivors start getting sacrificed to the entity your action speeds will increase.
  • Kinship – If another survivor is 16 meters away while you’re in struggle mode. The struggle bar will pause.
  • Left Behind – The reaming survivor will see the aura of hatch in close proximity.
  • No-one Left Behind – One the exit gates are open all the survivors are granted a speed boost and increased unhooking and healing speed.
  • Quick and Quiet – Suppress the loud notification when vaulting through a window or pallet.
  • Resilience – Increases your action speed.
  • Smash Hit – After stunning the killer you break into a sprint.
  • Sprint Burst – When running you break into a sprint.
  • Streetwise – Decrease your item depletion
  • Wakeup – You can see the aura of the exit gates.
  • Unbreakable – You can recover from the dying state once.
  • Off the Record – After being unhooked this will lessen your grunts and pools blood.
  • Adrenaline – Once the exit gates are powered, your instantly healed one state and increase running speed.
  • Lite – After vaulting, your running speed will increase.
  • Inner Healing – After cleansing a totem and walking into a closet you heal yourself
  • Dance with Me – While avoiding the killer through vaulting or lockers you won’t leave scratches.
  • Flip Flop – While recovering from dying half of your bar will be used to fill your wiggle bar.
  • Solidarity – While healing a survivor without a med kit it heals you as well.
  • Decisive Strike – While wigging in a killers grasp you have a chance to successfully break out of it.

Tier B Perks

  • Dark Sense – After completing a generator you will be able to see the Killers aura.
  • Desperate Measures – Increased Healing and unhooked survivors for every hooked or injured survivor.
  • Distortion – Your aura will not be shown to killer, and you won’t leave scratch marks.
  • Object of Obsession – You can see the killer’s aura and action speeds increase.
  • Overzealous – When your injured you retain your movement speed.
  • Parental Guidance – After stunning the killer, you won’t show scratches and pools of blood will lessen.
  • Power Struggle – While being carried by the killer you can drop a pallet to stun.
  • Premonition – Receive an auditory warning when you look in the killer’s direction.
  • Red Herring – After repairing a generator you cause it as a trap to lure the killer.
  • Repressed Alliance – After repairing the generator you can call upon the entity to block the generator.
  • Saboteur – Used to dismantle hooks.
  • We’ll make It – Increase healing speed after saving another from being hooked.
  • Windows of Opportunity – The auras of wall, windows and pallets are revealed.
  • Iron will – Reduces the volume of grunts and pants in an injured state.
  • Self-Aware – You walk faster and can see you own scratch marks.
  • Any means Necessary – You see the aura’s of dropped pallets and have the ability to raise them.
  • Boon: Exponential – Allows you to fully recover from dying state in a certain area.

Tier C Perks

  • Quick and Quiet – Suppresses the loud notification when vaulting a pallet and windows.
  • Slippery Meat – Add 3 more attempts to self-hook.
  • Self-Preservation – Scratch marks, pools of blood and grunts of pain are suppressed.
  • Left Behind – Reveals the aura of the trap door.
  • Corrective Action – Transforms a failed skill check to a good a skill check.
  • Premonition – Receive a warning when you look in the killer’s direction.
  • Poised – After a generator is finished you won’t leave scratch marks.
  • Botany Knowledge – Increases healing speed.
  • Breakdown – When you are unhooked each hook you are on breaks.
  • Bite the Bullet – Failed healing skill cheeks don’t send out an auditory warning
  • Blast Mine – Be able to stop killers from regressing generators by setting traps.
  • Boon: Shadow Step – Suppresses stretch marks and hides auras.
  • Built to Last – Hiding in locker recovers a depleting item.
  • Break Out – Increases wiggle speed.
  • Deception – Won’t leave any scratch marks of pools of blood.
  • Diversion – You won’t leave any scratch marks or pool of blood.
  • Hope – Grants a haste affect when the exit gates open.
  • Gurdian – Scratch marks and pools of blood are suppressed and grant a haste effect.
  • Leader – Increases action speed of other survivors.
  • Prove Thyself – Increases blood points and repair speed of all survivors in close proximity.
  • Resurgence – After being unhooked this helps you increase your healing speed.
  • Vigil – Increases side effects for all survivors.
  • Were gonna live Forever – Increases your healing speed when healing a died survivor.

Tier D Perks

  • Aftercare – You see all the other survivors.
  • Appraisal- Your able to look through already searched chest.
  • Balance Landing- reduces staggering effect.
  • Boon: Dark Theory – Gives you a little speed boost.
  • Buckle Up – While healing a survivor from dying state you see the killer’s aura.
  • Calm Spirit – Suppresses screams and stops from stirring the crows
  • Counterforce – Cleans totems faster.
  • Empathetic Connection – You heal survivors faster and see their auras.
  • Inner Focus – You can see other survivors scratch marks and when a survivor near you is injured you see the aura of the killer.
  • Lightweight – Reduces scratch marks.
  • Lucky Break – Suppresses blood and scratch mark.
  • Overcome – Whenever you become injured you retrain your movement speed.
  • Pharmacy – increases unlocking chests and finding med kits.
  • Residual Manifest – Increases blindness on killer if succeeded.
  • Rookie Spirit – You see the auras of regressive generators.
  • Situational Awareness – if the killer downs the survival near you will see other survivors.
  • Small Game – Receive a warning when looking in the direction of a totem.
  • Urban Evasion – Increases crouching movement.
  • Alert – Whenever the killer destroys a pallet or breakable wall or damage generators and their auras.

Tier E Perks

  • Fast Track – You gain tokens when a survivor is hooked and use them while using great skill checks.
  • Visionary – You see the auras of generations.
  • Stake Out – Tokens are consumed to consider great skill checks.
  • Plunder’s Instinct – You can see the aura of chest.
  • Open Handed – Increasing all reading auras.
  • Mettle of Man – Any damage that would put you in a dying state would be blocked.
  • No Mither – You suffer from the broken status effect, and pools of blood, you recover from a dying state, and recovery speed increases.
  • Tenacity – Increase crawling speed.
  • Blood Pact – After healing the obsession you both gain haste.
  • Detective’s Hunch – After an item has been completed it will become highlighted.
  • Up the Ante – Luck of all survivors rises.
  • Buckle Up – When healing a dying survivor to the injured state you can see the killer’s aura.
  • This is not Happening – Increases sucess zones of skill checks.
  • Ace in the Hole. – When getting an item from a chest an add on will be attached.
