In this article, we have come up with the best Strand Titan build that you can use in the Destiny 2 Lightfall.

Strongest Build for Strand Titan in Destiny 2 Lightfall

Many people are interested in trying out the new Strand subclass with the Titan class as they feel it can bring great changes to the meta. Players have been struggling to find information on whether the melee damage is going to be name of the game for this build, or will it rely on combining abilities with your shooting skills. Choosing armor and weapons also won’t be a clear choice, so we’ve prepared some advice for that as well.

Strand Subclass Abilities

When it comes to the abilities of the Strand subclass there are numerous opportunities to take advantage of, but we advise you to pick the following:

  • Rally Barricade – this instant cover that you can spawn everywhere you’d like further boosts your capabilities like range and reload speed and is thus a must-have.
  • Strafe Lift – activating Lift while in the air for better positioning.
  • Grapple – another great mobility ability for jumping in and out of combat and increasing your melee damage on the way.
  • Shackle Grenade – a long-lasting and damage-dealing disable that suspends the target, allowing you to shoot it uninterrupted or just focus on others while keeping this one disabled.

Strand Titan Aspects

Getting the Aspects won’t be difficult as picking the abovementioned abilities. A beneficial aspect that will benefit you greatly is Into the Fray which provides Woven Mail to you and your allies when you destroy a Tangle or use your Super. This is a great opportunity to increase everyone’s resistance to damage by upgrading the melee regeneration rate.

Drengr’s Lash allows you to throw an AoE disable in front of you suspending all enemies each time you use a class ability. We must remind you here how suspending enemies is one of the most valuable things you can do in-game as it gives you the opportunity to unleash some nice headshots or throw grenades and clear enemies in no time. Combine this with Shackle Grenade and you will really dominate the battlefield.

Strand Titan Fragments

Passive bonuses that increase your other abilities should be chosen wisely. As you could see above we leaned heavily on suspending the enemies so there will be no difference here as well. Choose the Thread of Mind fragment that grants class ability energy every time you kill a disabled enemy.

So you can probably already imagine the combo where you disable enemies with Shackle Grenade and/or Drengr’s Lash, shooting their heads off and reaping awards before you could blink.

Strand Titan Stats

Naturally, the stats will depend on the type of equipment you are able to find but it’s vital to remember that there are some stats you should always have in mind. For this build to work you need to focus on having Resilience, Strength, and Discipline buffed up as much as possible (ideally keep them above 80). So don’t worry that Mobility, Intellect, and Recovery will take a hit.

Strand Titan Weapons

The choice of weapons you will carry really comes down to what kind of playstyle you like. Most of the players like to exploit great automatic weapons, and the safe choice for us is always Perpetualis as it has great handling and reloading speed which puts it into a really reliable category. Null Composure has the same benefits plus better impact and range and can work with this build like a charm.

Traveler’s Chose is a good skillful weapon that gives you Gathering Light every time you kill an enemy. Gathering Light improves handling and reloading so the better shot you are, the easier it will be to pick off the next enemy.

How to Unlock the Strand Subclass?

The Strand subclass is a novelty coming in with Destiny 2 Lightfall and you will need to unlock it before you go on to create your Strand Titan build. Getting the Strand subclass is fairly simple and you will obtain it once you complete the Lightfall campaign.

While playing the campaign you will get a couple of opportunities to try out the particulars of the Strand subclass so by the end of it, it won’t be strange or new for you.
