Best KSP 45 loadout in Black Ops Cold War

The KSP 45 may be one of those SMGs you haven’t had the time to test out yet. After the nerf of the MP5, it’s a viable option and a nice step-up from the Milano. It is a burst-fire, so you’ll need some time to adjust if you’re used to the fully-automatics. Regardless, it has some incredible range and accuracy for an SMG, shining in close and mid-range encounters. Here’s the best KSP 45 loadout in Black Ops Cold War.

You can find a loadout below utilizing the Gunfighter Wildcard. If you prefer to use other Wildcards, you can get rid of the Optic, Body, and Stock to open up more options for yourself.

Continue reading below for a more in-depth explanation of each attachment option.

Attachments

You have plenty of choices here for the optics, and it comes down to personal preference. The default iron sights are viable, so you don’t necessarily need to use anything here, especially if you want to run a Wildcard other than Gunfighter. We recommend something like the Microflex LED, which adds a 1.25x magnification and has minimal impact on the field of view.

Next up, we’ll go with the SOCOM Eliminator muzzle for some flash concealment and a significant improvement to the Vertical Recoil Control. It slightly decreases the Shooting Move Speed and Horizontal Recoil Control, but we’ll make up for that with other attachments.

The most critical KSP 45 loadout attachment is the 10.5″ Task Force barrel. It adds an overall 6% damage increase and 50% range, along with a 75% Bullet Velocity increase. The barrel slightly decreases recoil and starting ammo, but the tradeoff is worth it for the bullet speed, range, and damage. We’ll use the Field Agent Foregrip to make up for the recoil situation.

For the body, we’re using the standard submachine gun go-to attachment: Steady Aim Laser. It increases the hip-fire accuracy by 15% and is a must-have on all SMGs. You can potentially go without a body if you want to run with a different Wildcard besides Gunfighter.

Another attachment that comes down to personal preference is the Magazine. The Salvo 48 Rnd Fast Mag is a good option, increasing ammo capacity and starting ammo by 60% while giving a 40% reload quickness boost. You don’t need to worry about running out of ammo or relying on Scavenger when using this mag.

One of the best handles we’ve been using is the Airborne Elastic Wrap. It improves ADS time Flinch Resistance and can help with drop shots if that’s your type of thing. It slightly affects mobility stats such as Shooting Move Speed and Sprint to Fire Time, but the tradeoff is worth it.

Finally, another suitable attachment is the Raider Stock. It adds 30% Sprint to Fire Time, which puts that stat in the green after considering all the other weapon attachments. It also slightly improves Aim Walking Movement Speed, with a minor decrease to Hip Fire Accuracy.

Tactical, Lethal, and Field Upgrades

For the other parts of our best KSP 45 loadout in Black Ops Cold War, we’re going with the following setup:

  • Tactical: Stimshot
  • Lethal: C4
  • Field Upgrade: Field Mic

Stimshot is a must-have for the healing bonuses. Lethal is a toss-up between C4 and Semtex, but you can choose whatever you like most. For the Field Upgrade, Field Mic seems to be the most useful, but your choice can be situational depending on the map and game mode.

Perks

Here are the perks we like to run with the KSP 45 setup:

  • Red: Tactical Mask
  • Blue: Scavenger
  • Yellow: Gung-Ho

Tactical Mask provides a natural resistance to stun grenades and flashbangs, which is perfect for multiplayer. Scavenger helps you replenish ammo as you’re running around slaying in close-quarters. Finally, Gung-Ho lets you fire your weapon, reload, and use equipment while sprinting. You can also switch weapons quicker with this perk.

Wildcard

The KSP 45 loadout is centered around using the Gunfighter Wildcard, which allows the primary weapon to carry three additional attachments. If you want to go with another Wildcard like Perk Greed, Law Breaker, or Danger Close, you can get rid of the optic, body, and stock attachments.
