Which Armor Charge Mods are the Best in Destiny 2 Lightfall?
There are a whole bunch of new Armor Charge mods to choose from in Destiny 2, and the amount of options given to players may seem overwhelming, especially to those unfamiliar with the world of Destiny 2. Without further ado, here are some of the best new Destiny 2 Armor Charge mods, listed in a random order.
Powerful Friends – 1 Energy Cost
This Armor Charge mod will cause your allies to increase their Armor Charge by 1 whenever you collect an Orb of Power, giving your team a huge boost in combat potential in one stroke.
Font of Wisdom – 3 Energy Cost
You will gain 1 temporary Armor Charge when you collect an Orb of Power with this mod active, and you can also get a bonus to your Intellect while you have any Armor Charge. These do decay over time however, so make sure to make use of them while they last.
Font of Focus – 3 Energy Cost
Similar to the Font of Knowledge, collecting an Orb of Power will reward you with 1 temporary Armor Charge. Additionally, when your grenade energy has all been spent, you can gain more grenade energy and you will gain an additional grenade energy for every Armor Charge that you have.
Charged Up – 3 Energy Cost
This upgrade can be stacked, unlike many of the other Armor Charge mods on this list. It will allow you to carry 1 more Armor Charge by raising the maximum you are allowed to carry by that much.
Time Dilation – 3 Energy Cost
This Armor Charge mod will cause your decaying Armor Charges to have a longer duration. While this may not seem too helpful at first, when you realize that it stacks (although with a lower return per stack) it can quickly become one of the most powerful mods available in Destiny 2 Lightfall.
Empowered Finish – 3 Energy Cost
You will get 1 temporary Armor Charge from Finisher final blows whenever you don’t have one already. This can also be stacked, so if you have no Armor Charges but then perform a Finisher final blow you can get several Armor Charges at once if you’ve stacked this strong Armor Charge mod.
Stacks on Stacks – 4 Energy Cost
Although this Armor Charge mod will cost you a little more Energy than the usual, it is certainly worth the expense to equip. You will gain one additional stack of Armor Charge whenever you pick up an Orb of Power in the game. This can be immensely beneficial to anyone who wants to have more Armor Charges on hand and available whenever necessary!
