You always hear Arthurian-style legends of “Black Knights,” warriors clad in black that were known for their viciousness and cruelty on the battlefield. Getting cornered by a Black Knight on a foggy day would be pretty scary, but you know what would be scarier? A whole bunch of them. Here are all abilities for the Knight, Dead by Daylight’s next Killer.
All Abilities For The Knight, Dead By Daylight’s Next Killer
As part of Chapter 26 of Dead by Daylight, titled “Forged in Fog,” the next Killer to join the roster will be the Knight, a towering warrior clad in rusty armor, lugging around a gigantic claymore. Having a guy like this bearing down on you would be scary enough on its own, but this Black Knight doesn’t ride solo.

The Knight’s power is called Guardia Compagnia. With this power, the Knight can summon up to three different Guards, with which he can patrol the map from a distance and delegate tasks like smacking generators or breaking pallets. The Knight can indicate a specific patrol pattern for his guards to take up or aim at specific targets he wants them to focus on.
There are three kinds of Guards the Knight can summon: the Carnifex, who breaks things faster, the Assassin, who moves faster, and the Jailer, who patrols for longer. If any of the Guards spot a survivor, they’ll leave a Standard flag to indicate their position, then start chasing them for a limited time. If the Survivor lasts long enough, unhooks another Survivor, or swipes the Standard, the Guard will disappear. If the Guard can down the Survivor, though, the Knight will be alerted to their position.
What a Night for a Knight
In addition to his power, the Knight comes with three new Perks:
- Nowhere to Hide: Whenever the Knight damages a Generator, the auras of Survivors standing within a certain distance are revealed for a few seconds
- Hubris: When the Knight is stunned by a Survivor, the Survivor who did it suffers from Exposed for 20 seconds
- Hex: Face the Darkness: Injuring a Survivor activates a random Dull Totem and hexes the Survivor you hit. As long as the Totem is active, all other Survivors will scream intermitently, revealing their auras. This lasts until the hexed Survivor is downed or healed, after which the Totem deactivates.
The Knight will be added to Dead by Daylight alongside a new map, the Shattered Square, and a new Survivor, Vittorio Toscano, on November 22nd.
