Candace is a future Egyptian inspired character who is heavily influenced by the new world Genshin Impact is introducing. What makes her different from the rest of the cast? It would probably have to be her distinguishable heterochromia eyes, where one color is a piercing yellow and the other is a vibrant blue. In the next updates we will be seeing new characters, a new map, and upcoming quests. Candace has finally been announced by MiHoYo and she’s causing quite a commotion. She’s an upcoming hydro based character who wields a pole-arm, so melee DPS players, will love playing with her. We’re still not sure if she will either be a four star ranked character or a five star. She is hinted to be a support player due to her skills, but no further information has been leaked.
Who is Candace? According to the lore she’s someone you don’t want to cross paths with. Get the villagers angry and you’ll have to face her. She’s the guardian of Aaru Village and has cool and calm demeanor. Due to her consistent work life consisting of helping villagers, aiding them with tasks, and protecting them she’s passionate over helping. At first, she’s kind and graceful but when she realizes you pose a threat to the people she’s trying to protect she will go momma bear on you. In a leaked voiced dialogue she’s described as “someone to be strong warrior, but won’t misuse her power.”
Not only is she a guardian but she is a descendant of King Deshret who can summon desert storms. She also used to be part of the treasure hoarders, which explains where she got her unique fighting abilities. Candance doesn’t mind helping out refugees and making sure everyone is comfortable in the village of Aaru, but make no mistake, if you’re a threat she will take you out.
Candace Abilities & Talents in Genshin Impact
Not much information can be found in regards to her talents and abilities. She’s rumored to be a support character due to some of her skills. She can generate a shield that will be used to help her team mates out. She’s probably very similar to Diona or Sara and she has three charge levels. In terms of her elemental bursts she can give buffs to the entire party. As we learn more about Candace we will keep you updated on how she can be useful in battle.
