As the two most ubiquitous things on the entire internet, it’s kind of surprising that there hasn’t been any official crossover between Fortnite and Among Us, beyond Fortnite’s Imposter game mode which is just Among Us with a different name. That, however, is about to change. So, when is Among Us coming out on Fortnite?
When Is Among Us Coming Out on Fortnite?
As it so happens, right now! To celebrate the last week of the Epic Games Store Mega Sale (which is still offering 25% coupons, by the by), Epic is running a cross-promotion between Fortnite and Among Us.
Starting June 9th, 2022 and until June 9th of next year, any purchase of Among Us or Among Us Stars packs on the Epic Games Store will earn you a free Crewmate Back Bling in Fortnite. These adorable little astronauts have their own walking and dying animations, mimicking your character as they do either. Additionally, for you fans of the Henry Stickmin Collection, you’ll also receive the Distraction Dance Emote, perfect for impromptu distracting dance parties.
The only rules to obtaining these items are that you need to have an active Epic Games account, and you need to purchase Among Us specifically on the Epic Games Store. Buying Among Us on another platform doesn’t count, though once you do get the items, you can use them in Fortnite on any platform, provided of course that you’ve linked your Epic Games account to the copy of Fortnite running on the platform in question.

On the off chance you miss this offer, the Crewmate Back Bling and Distraction Dance Emote will also be added to Fortnite’s in-game store at a later date. Considering you have until June of 2023 to get these items through the promotion, though, you probably won’t need to worry about that for a while.
