  • Weapon: Grease Trap
  • Area: Ultraviolet Villa
  • Boss: The Tenderizer, Roaster

The Grease Trap drops exclusively in the new Revenge of the Cartels area called Ultraviolet Village. It can drop from The Tenderizer and Roaster, which are two underbosses located in this area.

Grease Trap is a rather unique weapon with a secondary fire mode called Hot Grease. This essentially covers the enemies in grease, causing the primary fire mode to do a massive explosion and high damage.

It is extremely effective for large groups of enemies and works well in co-op. You can have some players greasing up the enemies and others causing explosions. One downside is using this weapon solo will result in some low DPS due to the constant switching between fire modes.

Overall, I think this weapon is very strong in group play, and slightly underwhelming in solo play. Don’t get me wrong, it can still do massive damage if used correctly by greasing enemies and then exploding them, but I believe there are better weapons out there. It is most definitely fun to use, though.
