Revenge of the Cartels is a new limited-time game mode introduced to Borderlands 3 on April 23. The new event runs from April 23 to June 4, 2020. You will find new legendaries, enemy types, and challenges available. You will need to take the fight to Joey Ultraviolet and his underbosses in Villa Ultraviolet. Revenge of the Cartels Underboss Locations in Borderlands 3
There are six different underbosses you will encounter in the Villa Ultraviolet:
- Roaster
- The Tenderizer
- Josie Byte
- Franco Firewall
- Tyrone Smallums
- FISH SLAP!
One underboss spawns in each of the four main areas of the mansion, and two of them spawn alongside Joey Ultraviolet on the lower level.
After entering the portal to the Cartel event, head straight and drop down toward the mansion. You will find a bunch of enemies near the entrance to The House Thay Joey Built in the courtyard, and the first underboss will come out after you clear them.
Next, you can head east to find another underboss in the “A Mansion” area. Clear out this area and the underboss will make his way down to you via the elevator.
You can now make your way over to the “Grand Baller-room” and clear the entire area. After clearing it, the second underboss will come to challenge you.
Head over to the Garden of Hedonia and clear out all the enemies one last time for the next underboss to spawn.
Now you can make your way to the lower level and fight Joey Ultraviolet. The last two underbosses will spawn during the fight, and we recommend taking them out quickly because they can become a nuisance.
After defeating all of the underbosses, you can unlock a challenge called Locked in Here With Me. This challenge requires you to beat all of them in one map playthrough, so make sure you get them all.
