Loach Pearls are one of the many materials you can collect in Genshin Impact. They are found around freshwater locations, primarily in the Liyue region of Teyvat. These little things are quick, so you’ll need to act quickly to catch them before they swim away. Here’s where to find Loach Pearls and Golden Loach in Genshin Impact.

Where to find Loach Pearls and Golden Loach in Genshin Impact

You can find a good amount of Golden Loach and Loach Pearls around the Dihua Marsh and Stone Gate areas of Liyue. Here’s a map of a few of the locations. Note that this is not every known area, but probably enough for you to efficiently farm them every couple of days. They do come to the land from time to time, but you’ll spot them more often in the water.

As noted, the Golden Loach will quickly swim away from you if you startle it. After a short time, it will disappear entirely, so you’ll need to run towards it to collect the Loach Pearl.

According to the in-game description, here’s what Loach Pearls are:

A shiny pearl spat out by a loach that has mystical medicinal properties. Minerals and elemental particles ingested by the loach condense into these mildly magical beads. When threatened, the loach spits them out to confused predators and escape with its life.
